We have just returned from a marvellous trip to Sao Jorge and would thoroughly recommend staying at the Qunita de Sao Pedro. Joana and Katarina are extremely helpful, nothing is too much trouble for them. They welcomed us with tea and cakes and provided us with the best places to visit and organised our boat trip. We stayed in the...

We stayed for three nights but would have loved to stay much longer. It's such a beautiful and relaxing place! The rooms in the new wing are actually small apartments, nicely decorated and extremely clean, with great views. The old house is also very charming. The views are amazing; the breakfast, delicious. Although everything is perfect in the Quinta, the...

Just a couple of minutes from Velas this is a beautiful farm converted to exquisite guesthouse. The two hostesses are charming and were Very helpful and attentive. Excellent breakfast served in the dining room. Downstairs antiques adorn the games lounge for guests. There is another bright lounge for Internet access. Views across the channel to neighbouring islands of Horta and...

I travelled with a group of photographers and stayed here two separate times within a two week span. At first, I shared a room with a friend. It was beautiful! It overlooked a hill side, road and then the beautiful Atlantic with a wonderful view of Pico island. The room had a separate sitting area with sofa, TV, sink, and...

My wife and I spent 5 days here in August 2014. We had a great time and full recommend a stay at Quinta de Sao Pedro. We stayed in the rustic farmhouse which was very comfortable. The breakfasts were very nice each morning, and the views from the terrace looking towards Pico were simply breath-taking. Joana was a fabulous host...

Quinta de Sao Pedro is where rock, water and sky meet. A perfect place to spend time, where time becomes briefly irrelevant. Not just perfect because of the geography, but because of your hosts, Joana and Katarina: it will become a home from home whilst you are there, and linger in your heart for a long time after. Highly suitable...

We loved our stay at Quinta de Sao Pedro. The accommodations were modern, but the property is an old family farm. There was a pool that looks out over the ocean and at the volcano on Pico, hammocks, and beautiful living rooms, and the rooms all have great views and kitchenettes. The breakfast was superb, and Joanna was the best...

We spent a few nights at Quinta de Sao Pedro after staying one night in the town of Velas. I agree with others, the view of Pico was incredible, the accommodations were modern within a quaint setting with a beautiful old main house that had been in her family, a beautiful pool, good breakfast, wifi living room. So peaceful and...
