we just stayed at the lince. We loved their staff, very professional and friendly. the breakfast could have been a bit better for a 4 star hotel 15 euros per person is a bit much since one would'nt eat half of whats available. the rooms were okay understanding its high season and super busy but for paying costumers one expects a bit better from a 4 star. in general we loved the location, the staff makes this hotel and the roof top patio was a nice place to relax in the evenings with a drink and music.

This is rather an odd location for a tourist hotel (not near any attractions), but free parking behind the hotel was a nice consequence. Rooms were generally fine. However, it was clear that the floors were never swept/vacuumed during our stay, and when one of us dropped something and looked under the bed, there was enough dust for a year's accumulation. The maid also felt compelled to change the thermostat back up to 22.5C, apparently believing that she knew better than we the temperature that we would like for sleeping. Breakfast buffet gave a wide variety of choices, not great but good before a full day's activities. We tried the dinner buffet our first night due to travel fatigue, but did not repeat that mistake as the city has so many really nice restaurants. Most of the desk staff were very pleasant, and all spoke English.

The hotel and amenities are great. Nice rooms. Great pool and spa area with sauna and steam room. Nice to spend time there relaxing after a day of visiting the island. Breakfast is really great and the restaurant has good food. We had both the delicious pizza and a La carte for dinner and would recommend both. Only down side is there is a QR code in the room that gives the price of the water in the fridge. We did not open this as each day it was refreshed and despite the tasty water on the island the cost of refilling our water bottles was atrocious. We found out only on check out. 3€ and 2.50€ for the water that was stocked. No sign on the fridge so beware. Water for the week cost us over 100€. Beware!!!

We arrived after the flight (10 mins far from airport). You can walk all around and go to downtown by foot (15 mins). Spacious and comfortable hotel with all services integrated. Good quality /cost rate. For a few days it could be the place to base the travels around the island.

Beautiful hotel, luxurious and large rooms, a rooftop with a fantastic view over the capital Ponta Delgada and excellent cuisine, very clean. extremely kind and professional staff 👌🏻
but the Hotel Lince Nordeste surpassed all my expectations… if paradise exists, it is certainly here. The rooms have a magnificent view of the ocean, the village, greenery and many flowers. The room had fresh fruit every day, very clean and modern. The beds are very well made, with a super comfortable mattress and quality linens. The dining area is very beautiful and has the same stunning view from the rooms. The Hotel offers all the Spa communities and very kind, friendly and professional staff. Relatively new hotel in Ponta Delgado. Nice amenities and features. We used the steam bath and dry sauna several times. Restaurant was buffet style and good...ate there several times. Generally speaking, especially during peak season, you HAVE to get reservations but despite being told we needed reservations, plenty of seating was available. Location was close to city center. Beds were comfortable. Parking in the garage was 8 euros a day otherwise, you have to scrounge a spot around the hotel. We had a couple of meals at the lounge and enjoyed them and the ambience. We'd stay again...

Great location, very clean, polite staff, big rooms, view to the ocean, free parking. The breakfast is amazing. We also tried the restaurant for a dinner, there is a choice of a la carte or a buffet, we tried both, and pizzas too, and everything was delicious. My son had a birthday and found a big surprise, a little cake, so cute.

The Lince Azores is a relatively large hotel with large rooms, that is about a 10-15 minute walk to the center of town. Everything was clean and well-maintained. We had an issue with the room we were given on arrival, and staff investigated, understood, and fixed the issue thoroughly. I'd be happy to stay here again.

This hotel has alot of potential, it perfectly located great staff. The only cons I would say is their bathroom water is never hot luke warm, the shower only the hand held worked, and water goes everywhere even with the glass partition, a lot of clean towels on the floor. A suggestion would be best to have curtains . the breakfasts were always great staff around if you wanted crepes or fried egg freshly made. The staff makes me want to return .

This a decent 3 star hotel according to me. I travel a lot and do have a lot to compare with. It was very clean . Breakfast and dinner decent. Friendly English speaking staff at the restaurant . Nice lobby and spa area. So much too pluses. The location is bit further from center so you have to be ready for walk. Room amenities are very basic. You only realize how good or bad the reception staff is when you have a problem. And here unfortunately I had to realize that in this hotel reception staff is friendly but they ready to lie to your face just to get rid of you how disappointing.
