This hotel is the perfect combination of luxury and natural beauty. With views of the sea and surrounded by lush hills, the location is pristinely tranquil. The staff is also wonderful... Reuben greeted us and was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We found that most tours picking up from Ponta Delgada would pick us up from Mosteiros for a small fee. There is also a whale watching tour departing from Mosteiros nearby, which was excellent (Terra do Pico). I would definitely stay here again!

I spent two nights at Mosteiros Place to start off my honeymoon in the Azores and it was the absolutely best place for this! It was so relaxing and all the staff were incredibly accommodating to any needs. We enjoyed the privacy this location offered due to the limited number of units they have. All of the food and drinks we had were great, and you can’t beat the views! We would absolutely recommend this location for anyone looking to explore the Western coast of Sao Miguel island.

This hotel was amazing. We arrived in the only flight one can take from Boston - it leaves in the evening and because the AZores are mid-Atlantic it arrives in 5 hours. Tough to get a good nights sleep. Still we got to the hotel at about 9am knowing full well check in was not til 3 but we were having trouble thinking we were so tired so the best thing to do was get to the hotel and figure out what to do with the rest of what we knew would be a messed up day. The hotel manager let us have breakfast (small charge to our room l) and then had two beds set up in a room by the pool just for us. We crashed! Thank goodness! The hotel is beautiful and the food has been great. But thank you to the manager who went out of her way to help us through that weird first day!

Mosteiros Place was our second place to stay on our recent trip to Sao Miguel, before heading home. An extra bed was provided for our daughter in the living area, this was quite acceptable for us. The apartment was beautiful, clean, spacious and well appointed. Very private, quiet and relaxing. The view from the living area and bedroom was just stunning, allowing us to just gaze at the ocean and sunsets. A balcony to sit out on too. Huge bedroom and excellent bathroom. We asked for a kettle to supplement the coffee maker in our kitchen area, this was provided immediately. Breakfasts were ample and good choice. We left early on the final morning. The staff offered to provide food at the early hour for us.We declined as it was too early to eat, but the kind offer was there for us. The staff are what make this place special. So helpful and no rush, making you feel the most important person. All ladies that looked after us were super and so friendly. Car parking and easy access to the secure property. We found it easier to drive up the hill and turn around, then approach the entrance from the other direction due to the angle of the driveway, but this was no problem on the quiet road. Thank you for making us feel extremely welcome and giving us a relaxing end to our holiday.

A boutique hotel with spectacular views. This quaint hotel offers you the convenience of feeling like you are at home and also the conveniences of breakfast, room service, gym, beautiful pool and friendly staff. The location is ideal to explore the south part is the island. Experience the sunset in Mosteiros, the beach and natural pools. Take day trips to Sete Cidades and Ferraria.

Absolutely loved it, it completely lived up to our expectations. Incredible views, excellent service, tasty breakfast with delicious local products (the creamy yoghurt is simply to die for). The apartments are tastefully decorated/furnished, we found everything we needed (perhaps some drawers in the bedroom would have been welcome). It was quiet, relaxing and a perfect departure point for Sete Cidades and highlights in the west of the island. We particularly appreciated the intimacy, only six apartments and the very attentive service from Adriana 👍 we will most definitely return to the Azores, a little piece of heaven on earth.

This is the nicest place we have ever stayed. We stayed there for an entire week as we explored the island. The staff were warm, welcoming, and professional; the breakfasts were wonderful, full of fruit, yogurts, eggs, pastries, and more; the pool was great for all of us, expecially the kids; the views from the pool deck, and from our rooms and room deck, were incredible; the sunsets looking west over the Atlantic could not be beat. The room/condo itself was spacious, clean, and was cooled with mini-splits. We absolutely loved this place.

Amazing Ocean views and location. Very clean and new. Quiet. Good breakfast. Service was top notch especially Mario, he greeted us with a hot cappuccino and was beyond helpful and accommodating, he made the stay even better! Would recommend Sao Miguel and this hotel! Hope to return someday.
