We arrived the hotel around 9am as our flight arrivals time was super early. There was no room available so we left our baggage with the concierge and went around the lovely city. When we arrived back it was still not time for check in, however the concierge found a room for us! Room view was lovely, facing the neighbourhood and to the right a beautiful sea view. We were received in the room by a lovely letter with seashells, and on the third day another lovely letter with chocolates. Staff was very kind and helpful at all times. Breakfast was great! Pool is nice! There is a public parking in front of the hotel, and its free from 20h until 8ham. Hotel counts with a parking lot as well. As our check out was before restaurant opens, the staff kindly prepared a take away bag with sandwiches, juice, water, frui and yogurt, it was very kind! <3…

We stayed here in September and could not have been happier. The room was very comfortable, the location was great for walking about, and the staff were helpful and friendly. From the front desk, the bar and the breakfast area, everyone went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. We would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is mid range...I paid $50 single in October. It is close walking for all of the attractions in town. My room had a balcony with harbour view. Breakfast included - is excellent in this agricultural paradise, with great local cheeses and breads and all the rest. Also they can arrange a 6 Euro transport from / to airport, instead of the usual 10 + Euro.

We arrived with a paid voucher. The hotel said it was cancelled. I checked online, and the reservation was in place. The hotel staff snarled and said no payment had likely been made. I showed them the charges to the credit card. I then connected them to the company who made the reservation. All they woodenly repeated was that it was cancelled. No apologies for inconvenience, no offer to find another room - they were full (hmmm maybe that is why it was “cancelled.”) They couldn’t even give reasonable directions from the airport. We have been to the Azores three times and love it. This is not the Azores. This is the first negative review I have written.
