We travelled to Portugal late April for 4 nights. We decided to stay out of Lisbon, even though our initial intention was a city break - and we're so glad we did. The hotel is in a great spot, right on the beach but also 5 minutes from town and about 10 minutes walk from the Marina. If you want...

Stayed at the Albatroz for three nights in the Palace over the road from the main hotel. The room on the 3rd floor was simply wonderful and with à beautiful view of the ocean from the Windows of the library living room. The staff in the palace were extremely polite, helpful and couldńt be nicer. The bed was like sleeping...

Certainly not, we had a lovely two nights at this hotel! We had a beautiful room on the first floor of the older part of the hotel with a great view along the beach, and the room was extremely comfortable! It even had a small carafe of tawny port to greet us, which was delicious. The staff were without exception...

We've been here for a prolonged week-end and were more than happy to find this idilically located hotel oh the shore of the Atlantic Ocean, ca 30 km west from Lissabon. With not so many rooms and with some of these facing the ocean, the hotel offers all the facilities of a five-star location. Although renovation was under progress as...

The location is ideal and the hotel has character. I would splurge for the sea view room unless it is not really worth the price. We stayed there during March, which was slow season and they were doing a lot of construction, which is understandable but it would have been nice if they compensated their price a bit. The rooms...

My wife and I stayed there for a weekend. The modern front façade can be misleading as the whole ambience is very cozy and traditional. I was positively surprised by the staff friendliness, the genuine type one associates to the Portuguese way of receiving guests. The restaurant service is first class, they have a great Chef and, totally unexpected, there...

I was so very glad that I spent my first holiday in Cascais at the Hotel Albatroz, but it's going to make it difficult for me to stay at any other property when I return. It was a perfect stay and a wonderful experience. My advice - it's worth it if you can get one of the suites overlooking the...

We spent three nights in this hotel and will definitely be returning. It is in a perfect spot with amazing views. Our sea view room opened onto a balcony, overlooking the pool and a small sandy beach. The beds are comfortable and spotless. Service is efficient and old-fashioned. Breakfasts are superb. The hotel is well situated, close to shops, restaurants...

Very nice, modestly-sized, reasonably priced hotel located right next to the central pedestrian district, and less than 5 mins walk from the town's small railway station. Extremely helpful and attentive staff. Location on a small cliff next to the sea allows very pleasant views during breakfast. An easy stroll to the towns many bars and restaurants, plus a welcome complimentary...

Overall this is a great little hotel with loads of charm. The staff were always nice and we had a table reserved for breakfast every morning, which was a nice a touch. The room was clean and spacious and we had a view of the sea which was great. You cannot compare this hotel to a true 5-star hotel but...
