We had a beautifull room with sliding doors for overlooking the garden in the new building. 15 minutes walking to the trainstation an then another 45 minutes by coasttrain to Lissabon. Or just some walking or biking along the shore

Modern rooms with all the necessary amenieties. Breakfast is not huge but sample and is always refilled. There is a pool and also a nice terrace. Its extremely quiet and the rooms are very comfortable. Very near the centre of Cascais.

Architects in Portugal have mastered the art of converting lovely older properties into first class small hotels and guest houses. This is an example of that great talent. A small place with 16 rooms (all different and all reflecting the history of Portugal and its global connections), lovely lounges and terraces, a wonderful garden and swimming pool, set in a...

Loved this place. Location for Cascais is very good. The breakfast was simple but adequate. Staff very very welcoming and friendly. The rooms are very nice and comfortable. Each one is themed - try to get the duplex room. I would stay here again. Ubers are only a couple of Euro to get to the water front / main bit...

A beautifully maintained guest house in a quiet neighborhood of Cascais a short walk to restaurants and shops. From the moment we arrived we felt at home. The common areas are comfortable, there is an honesty bar for drinks and free Nespresso coffee and fruits. The breakfast was more than sufficient and coming from Spain we enjoyed the flexible hours...

This is a fantastic place to stay as a couple! We feel like home but away. Breakfast was delicious with eggs and bacon, fruits and yoghurt. We recommend this peaceful place right outside the City center.

We stayed here for 1 night and had nothing but positive experience. The place is clean and modernly decorative. The garden was on the hillside and had enough space for a quite hide-away. Hosts were warm and helpful. As a bonus, the breakfast place is opened after breakfast hours and gourmet coffee/juice drink are available most time. It served very...

We stayed in this guest house on our last night in Portugal. It was not the best weather so we didn't get a chance to utilize the space to the full extent. This guest house provides amix of traditional and extremely modern amenities and rooms. On arrival, we were greeted by the owner who gave us a tour of the...

A perfectly adequate room, picturesque grounds, good breakfast, however, resting on its laurels, lacking in attention to detail. Our sink never drained properly and was never adequately serviced. One dump of smelly chemicals did not do the trick and our request for assistance was never answered. the grounds and pool area, though lovely, needed attention. Wifi was spotty. A few...

We stayed 5 nights recently with a group of 12 people. The guest house is lovely, with beautiful grounds and lovely unheated swimming pool. The location was perfect for exploring Cascais and vicinity. We were a short walk to the market, downtown, and the train where we could easily get to Lisbon. The guest house was spotless - very clean....

Casa Vela Charm GuestHouse: An oasis of tranquility, set right in middle of the old historic quarter of Cascais…Casa vela offers you a discrete, sophisticated and unique ambiance. It’s embraced by a real oasis of greenery. The 3.500 square meters of perfectly manicured gardens, waterfalls and lakes, provide an environment of harmony and relaxation. The names range from Timor, Goa, Mozambique, Macau to Cinnamon, Pepper and Curry. They are all individually styled and decorated with more than a dash of simplicity and grace, inviting you to a homely feel. Centrally located though in a tranquil and calm residential quarter, you’ll find at a walking distance Cascais’s main attractions such as Museums, Marina and Public Gardens.
