My wife and I are currently spending a week in Cascais at the Baia Hotel. First of all Cascais is perfect. Easy to get around, clean and safe. Very nice beaches. Several attractions nearby. And a food lover's paradise. (sea food especially). This hotel is delightful and really compliments our trip. And with visiting other hotels (just for curiosity) we...

Had a really good week at the Baia Hotel. Best of both worlds, opposite a nice beach but in a lively small town as well as only a 30 mins (2 Euro!) train ride into Lisbon...perfect! The town council really keep the town of Casicais immaculate as well as providing loads of free events/concerts in the summer, even the local...

Spent a week with my partner in this hotel in early June. Have to say we were delighted with the hotel. It was my third trip to Cascais and on previous occasions had stayed in 5 star hotels. Yes they were great hotels but a bit our from the town center which meant a taxi ride each time you wanted...

This is a typical 3* Hotel with an excellent location, in the core of Cascais and facing the beach. The Hotel is old but underwent partial restorations that kept it reasonably updated. Lobby areas were fully remodeled. Rooms are also aged, despite some partial remodeling effort. In the rooms facing the beach the view compensates for this, but in the...

Dear Sir, Thank you for your review. We welcome constructive citicism as we are always trying to improve. All Land View Rooms have now been refurbished as have the 1st floor Sea View Rooms. Just returned from 6 nights at the Baia hotel and I cannot fault it in any way. It is a 3 star property but I have to compliment the staff, the location, the food and of course the price! Check in was very quick and friendly, the rooms are exactly what I expected from a 3 star property, spotlessly clean...

This is a 3* hotel and doesn't pretend to be anything more than that. People moaning about amenities, room facilities or a self-service breakfast need to dig deeper and stay somewhere else. The rooms and hotel were immaculate and the staff were all very friendly but discreet. Some parts of the hotel are still to be refurbished but who cares,...

We are staying at this hotel at present. The location is great, close to beach, restaurants and the sights. Good wifi is available on the ground floor, reception, bar etc. We have a nice sea view but small balcony on the 2nd floor. Other floors have larger balconies. The decor in our room is very basic and tired, the bathroom...

Stayed recently on family short break. Was greeted by an extremely friendly and efficient man at reception. Tall and polite. I mention that, as subsequent visits to reception were not met in such a friendly way. We had booked on late rooms a few months earlier. The rooms we were allocated were on the second floor at the rear of...

Thank you for your review. We are sorry that we could not upgrade you to a Sea View Room but at this time of year, we are working at full capacity and the only way to guarantee a sea view is to book in advance. I am also sorry that you missed out on breakfast. When there is an early...

We only got to stay one night in this wonderful beachfront hotel but would definitely go back again. Rooms are smaller and basic but the view of the ocean and beach makes up for it. It is also in a great location to all the walking attractions, shopping malls, restaurants - it was all great!! Can't wait to go back!!

We stayed here last week for six nights and had a very enjoyable stay. The location of the hotel is ideal and I just love the room top pool area.
