All the times I return to this hotel I find the usual atmosphere of a perfect organization, elegance, excellent service and peace. Free parking and excellent wifi, very good breakfast. This time we had a suite and it was an extremely comfortable experience.
This was such a WONDERFUL surprise! It’s so close to the Fatima Shrine - just steps away. Yet quiet, too. PROS: 1) It’s beautiful - clean, well designed, visually appealing. 2) Joyful staff 3) Great room - comfy bed, quiet, huge and well appointed bathroom. 4) Free Breakfast!!! Yummy, all sorts of things to eat and even an expresso machine. CONS: None - if you choose another hotel, you will miss the best value!
Elderly and disabled-friendly hotel. Surprisingly spacious by European standards, swift check in and check out procedure, luxurious bathroom amenities, ready to accomodate droves of pilgrims. But the best part is its close proximity to the Fatima Santuary that all you have to do is pray.
Stayed in this hotel for one night on a tour of Portugal. Nice rooms and good location close to the religious sites but the food was not of the standard you expect in a 3/4 star hotel - if you stay here give both the dinner and breakfast buffet a miss and eat somewhere else.
I have been coming to Fatima for pilgrimage every year for the last 6 years. It’s a ritual that I don’t intend to quit any time soon. I have also stayed in many different hotels around the Shrine as a result of this, but decided on this occasion to write a review. I most recommend this hotel. The rooms are a great size, modern, fresh, clean bedding, bathrooms clean and well fitted. There are safes in the rooms to keep valuables in, which is great. Reception was extremely professional and the customer service in general was top notch. Every year in the past I was always disappointed with breakfasts in the hotels I’d stayed at. However, on this occasion, the breakfast was much better. Perhaps the only suggestion that I’d make about the breakfast is that rather than having frankfurter sausages, have real juicy good quality sausages instead. Otherwise, the selection/variety was fantastic: cereals, breads, pastries, fruits, scrambled eggs and bacon (taken out once every half hour or so), baked beans. The bar don’t really do cocktails, and this would be an addition to the hotel that would put it above the rest, for clientele that like an afternoon refreshment. The only negative thing I’d say about housekeeping is that there was a little soiling on the toilet flush button. It’s a good thing I always carry antibacterial wipes on me, otherwise this would have been a problem. If you’re looking for quality, I’d recommend this hotel. If you find that there is no availability on the dates you intend to be at the Shrine for this hotel, then I’d recommend another hotel just around the corner from this one, called Hotel Regina.…
