I booked my stay at the Pessoa hotel last-minute, and chose it based on its location and affordability. I found the staff to be incredibly friendly and professional. At check-in, I was given a voucher for a free drink at the rooftop restaurant, which I immediately redeemed. The bustling restaurant offered fantastic views of the city. I only had drinks, but the food looked fantastic. It seems impossible to find a bad meal in Lisbon. :) The building itself is ancient, but has a modern look and feel. Outside of the restaurant, the hotel is completely serene. The basement library offers a quiet enclave for work and reading. Despite the hotel being near capacity, I had the library to myself. What made the hotel truly extraordinary was the hospitality provided by a staff member named Yasoja. He was warm, friendly, and provided incredible service throughout my stay. When I checked out the next day, I noticed that the lobby was packed with guests waiting to check in. This made the lobby feel very cramped - I might recommend that the hotel offer drink vouchers to guests as they await their check-in time. Hauling luggage around in Lisbon isn't very fun due to the steep hills and stone streets. As I was leaving, Yasoja offered to wheel one of my two large suitcases to my next destination. Again - incredible service that far exceeded any expectations. Book it, you won't regret it.

This is my second time staying at Lisboa Pessoa Hotel and really enjoyed my stay again. The location is excellent, the breakfast is amazing - so much to choose from and the food/menu at the restaurant is top quality. The gym and the spa facilities are also excellent! The staff are welcoming and polite and the service is great. I have to say a big big thank you to Yasoja!! I came in August 2023 and again this year from 13-15 Feb and he recognised me straight away and welcomed me back. Yasoja is so genuinely kind, approachable and helpful and went above and beyond to make sure my stay was as comfortable as it could be. He always gives good recommendations of where to visit/eat and always says hello and makes conversation. Thank you to the hotel but especially to Yasoja for all your help and making me feel so welcomed. I will definitely visit again soon! :-).

The Lisboa Pessoa Hotel is a beautiful hotel with a stunning view from the Roof top bar/restaurant . The hotel staff were all welcoming especially Yasoja who was professional and courteous. We stayed in a Unique Room which was very spacious , clean and comfortable with a complimentary mini bar. A Birthday bottle of Fizz and cake left in the room was also a lovely gesture. The hotel itself is centrally located and ideal to explore this beautiful city. We will definitely be returning to this hotel.

We had a wonderful memorable stay at the Lisboa Pessoa hotel, Lisbon. The staff were so friendly and helpful especially Yasoja who was so welcoming and professional and arranged everything, especially as it was a special birthday and engagement celebration for us. We had a wonderful guided walk on our first day with Fabrizio, which gave us a great introduction to the city. I had the most amazing massage with Becky at the spa, she is truly talented both her and Yasoja are a credit to the hotel. I will never forget our wonderful romantic stay at Lisboa Pessoa and we hope to return.

It was very much a last minute ute decision to visit Lisbon for a few days winter sun. We had never been & wanted a central location. Pessoa more than lived up to its reviews. 5 minutes from the Rossio train & metro stations a hand walk to the seafront. As for the hotel, wonderfully comfortable, friendly & helpful staff, a vast breakfast choice, the evening menu had big choice of Portuguese specialities , from the roof terrace all of Lisbon could be viewed. A very relaxing spa & comfortable bedrooms. Everything we needed for a relaxing few days. We will be back

The Lisboa Pessoa Hotel is a beautiful and unique hotel. The hotel staff was welcoming. Yasoja was professional and helpful, and offered great recommendations, and the front desk staff were always friendly and kind. My room overlooked a spectacular view of the city, and included charming décor. It was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The literary walking tour was excellent. Fabrizio was very knowledgeable and wove together an interesting set of themes about Fernando Pessoa’s life and Lisbon’s history. I would highly recommend Lisboa Pessoa Hotel to literature lovers and really anyone looking for a beautiful and centrally located hotel. It's perfect.
