All the staff were great, hotel extremely clean, rooms lovely, food nice, our room had an ace view of the city and sea view, the indoor pool and gym were good and clean. If you designer expensive shops they are all 5 minutes walk away
I highly recommend staying at the iberostar in Lisbon/Lisboa for the following reasons: 1. Hotel - very clean and modern. I stayed in room 602 and it had everything I needed. 2 twin beds put together. A mini bar with lots of space. I did not use the items in the bar. It has an amazingly large and well lit shower with rain shower. Separate toilet. Large closet with lots of space. Robes and slippers. 2. Staff - very friendly and supper helpful from the front desk, the cleaners, the servers in the restaurant, and the host Juan. 3. Breakfast - the breakfast was included in my package and omg it was 100% worth it. Coffees, lattes, juices, cereals, toasts, eggs, sausages, salads, fruits and pastries. 4. Location - close Avenida da Liberdade and all the high end shops, easy to walk to Rossio Square (16 min), an uber drive to Belem tower is approximately 12 min. Tip, some grayline tours will even pick you up from this hotel. Truly enjoyed my first trip to Portugal and my stay at the Iberostar. …
The Iberstar is conveniently located near the central area of Lisbon. The staff was very helpful with tips about travel, restaurants and sightseeing. The hotel accomodations are modern and they are fully functional. The beds were very comfortable which helped us to have plenty of energy for our daily activities.
All staff were friendly and always ready to help. The room on the 8th floor was clean and very quiet. Breakfast was varied with plenty of choice. The hotel is well located near a station for central Lisbon
Had 4 nights in room 605, nice large room with an excellent shower, large screen Samsung tv, and a nespresso coffee machine (free pods) large comfortable bed lots of storage and plenty of sockets and usb in the right places so no trailing cables, excellent buffet breakfast as per usual with iberostar and each member of staff had an easy smile and were willing to help with any questions, excellent location for transport links (5min to metro) definitely recommend
A good city hotel with well maintained rooms. The breakfast was decent and cava was available as well! Did not get a chance to use the spa. The 5 rating is really for the concierge especially Jonna who was fantastic in recommending and booking restaurants. Always smiling and helpful she made our Lisboa stay extra special.
Overnight stay pre Cruise at this truly tasteful and lovely Hotel. The rooms are very modern with excellent walk in shower. The Hall Porter , Manuel was so helpful, welcoming and efficient in helping us with luggage and explaining how the air conditioning etc worked in the room. A really nice genuine guy. We had an evening meal in the Restaurant which served some lovely local dishes which were superb. Can I also mention Samuel who served us in a very friendly, efficient and knowledgeable manner. It’s people that make a Hotel memorable and the two mentioned did a great job for you. Thanks.
Don't be fooled by the street appearance this is a superior hotel with super staff and superb food. Located away from main touristy areas but just a short walk or uber ride to all the sights of Lisbon.
We had a lovely stay and would highly recommend this hotel. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Our room was immaculate - very clean and comfortable, although the glass shower and toilet walls took a bit of getting used to! The hotel is in a great location - close to the metro and the starting point for the hop on hop off sightseeing buses. There are a couple of restaurants nearby (the Italian restaurant across the road is very good) but the hotel restaurant was excellent. The service was attentive but not intrusive and the food was really, really good. Breakfast was a treat every morning - so much choice and all excellent quality.
We booked in for a week to explore the city. Really friendly staff and helpful from the moment we checked in. Comfortable room and excellent maid service. Fabulous breakfast choices. The lounge bar was very good too. Staff there were so friendly and chatty. Only a short walk to bus stops and the Metro.
