We are so thankful to the staff at Hotel da Baixa for making our anniversary trip to Lisbon so special. The hotel is perfectly located in the central part of Lisbon, within walking distance of so many sights and restaurants, and not far from the river. We loved the daily breakfast, and the staff were so helpful with all of our questions and requests. Obrigados!

The hotel location is central and surrounded by shops and restaurants but the rooms are quiet. The staff are outstanding, friendly, cheerful, helpful and generous. We were upgraded to a premium room which was spacious, clean and had all the facilities required. We were given a drink on arrival, a bottle of sparkling wine in the room to welcome us and another the next day for my birthday. They made us feel very special and welcomed. The breakfast was good with a wide choice. We cannot praise it enough. We would not stay anywhere else. Cost of eating and drinking there very reasonable.

This hotel lives up to it’s review. Incredible location, short walk to trams, many restaurants and very centrally located. Even close to the Christmas market. The front desk staff were exceptional with incredible service. So helpful with every aspect of our trip. Sightseeing, transportation, food and just made us feel at home. Even offered us breakfast before actual check in. Miguel was so knowledgeable and friendly. Room was extremely clean with bathrobes and had rainhead shower and oversized bath towels. One of best hotel we have stayed in. Also try the Tuktuk tours

A lovely hotel, well located for walking to many of Lisbon’s attractions (or for hopping on the trams if you don’t like walking). Friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are comfortable (especially the bed!), well equipped and spotless- we loved the fresh smelling sheets which fragrances the whole room. The breakfast buffet was simple but met our needs - we weren’t so keen on the coffee from the machine in the breakfast area, but there was a Nespresso machine in reception and in the bedroom which was more to our taste. The free mini bar soft drinks were a nice touch.

My opinion is that this is a superb hotel which offers a wonderful welcome and excellent standards of hotel keeping in a fantastic location. I found that the welcome on arrival, the facilities offered and the overall experience of my stay exceeded expectation. The welcome and service and quality of food at dinner and breakfast as well as the overall dining experience were also excellent. Congratulations and thank you to all of the team who do a wonderful job. I would certainly return.

After a last minute cancellation of an air bnb they were able to fit us into the last room for 2 nights. We had a car so we could pull up out the front and unload and the my valiant parked it which was so nice! The staff were so friendly and hospitable. Our room was really small however it was the last room so we couldn’t complain, although small it’s beautifully appointed and has everything you need including free mini bar. We dined in their restaurant the first night and the food was lovely. I did partake in a couple of cosmopolitans in the bar whilst we stayed there. They also offered us free breakfast for both days which was very nice. Nice and close to everything and we really enjoyed our stay at the hotel!

The staff were so welcoming and helpful. One of the front desk staff members walked with us until we could see the underground rail station. The rooms were spotless and well furnished. The location of the hotel was a highlight. We could walk out the back of the hotel and there were outdoor restaurants serving delicious meals at an affordable price.

The Hotel Da Baixa is a fabulous hotel in the heart of Lisbon, surrounded by the most sought after neighborhoods. It is located in an historic area and a short walk to wonderful views of the Tagus River and Atlantic. .The city itself is very hilly but this hotel is situated on a wide pedestrian friendly street making the location a perfect spot to explore from. However, the most extraordinary aspect of our stay was the amazing staff. Their attention to the customer was exemplary and we often found ourselves amazed at their ability to make our stay even more wonderful than it already was. Our room was lovely, with a very comfortable king size bed, large windows and a balcony that overlooked the beautiful tiled street below. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to explore Lisbon.

We loved our stay in this very charming, well appointed boutique hotel located in "the middle of it all". The hotel is very clean. The bathroom is huge. The amenities are lovely. The hotel bar is delightful. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We walked all over the city including stunning waterfront. I highly recommend and would gladly stay again if given the opportunity to return.
