Hotel Da Baixa emerges as a favorite for its prime location, which places guests in the heart of the city close to major attractions, often mentioned by travelers. The hotel's rooms earn compliments for their modern amenities and cleanliness, despite some comments about their compact size and occasional maintenance issues. Guests have called out the excellent service provided by professional staff, and the stylish atmosphere is enhanced with live music and thoughtful touches. While soundproof windows are effective in reducing noise, a few guests have noted thin walls. Overall, the hotel's value is appreciated, with special nods to the free breakfast and minibar items.

Fantastic location, near the metro. Hotel is lovely, not too big, very personable staff. Excellent Wi-fi & facilities.
What makes the hotel is the little extras. Portuguese tarts in your room on arrival, welcome note, small souvenirs. They restock your mini bar each day bar with free soft drinks & a beer.
Breakfast is till 11am, so we went for a morning walk and then took brunch. Wide selection, buffet style. I had fruit, yogurt and scramble eggs withs smoked salmon each morning.
Rooms are good size, big beds, comfortable, large TV, little fridge and a coffee maker. Bathroom was large, double sink and a walk-in shower. We had room 111.
Hotel felt very safe and so was the area it was in.
The bar was cosey, good value and had entertainment on the Friday night we was there.
Loads of restaurants nearby. Short walk to many of the Lisbon attractions and shopping area
This is a 4 stat hotel offer 5-star service
We will be back.

Hotel da Baixa is a smart, contemporary hotel in the heart of central Lisbon. The location is great, it’s 20 minutes on the Aerobus to Rossio and the hotel is a short walk (5 minutes). The hotel is very central, so a quick walk to the coast and tourist highlights (castle etc) respectively plus a huge array of restaurants, bars and cafes are close to hand. Style is modern Portuguese, with a nod to the traditional.

Hotel rooms are smart and very clean. Our room had a large comfy bed, walk in modern shower, all the toiletries you need, a good coffee machine, mini-bar (free soft drinks) and was spacious with powered blinds to keep cool by day and blackout curtains so you could sleep whatever time of day! A great space.

Room had a smartphone with free call credit each day and loads of information about the area that we took out with us and found really useful.

Staff were excellent, the friendliest we encountered and the breakfast was a great selection of pastries, bread, cold meats and cheese, cereal, fruit, yoghurt and cooked options. There was also a healthy corner with gluten free and similar options. It set us up fantastically for a day of exploring.

Parking is available, we didn’t note any leisure facilities (gym, pool etc) but that’s clear on the website. What was a nice touch was water and coffee in the reception area, and a constant supply of pastel de nata’s!

Overall a really good hotel - definitely recommended.

We had a wonderful stay in Lisboa. We stayed in Hotel Da Baixa for 4 nights. This hotel is in a fantastic location in downtown Lisboa.

We were a family of 4 travelling(2 adults + 2 kids).

The front desk staff are really wonderful and helpful. We arrived really early and they allowed us to have breakfast, further when we finally checked into our room our luggage was taken to our room and available. We had 2 connecting rooms which we really enjoyed a lot.

The bathrooms are great with great water pressure in our showers. The toilet & shower had its own privacy glass so multiple people were able to use the bathroom at the same time which was very useful when we were getting ready in the morning.

The breakfast spread is great, do make sure you try the juice of the day along with coffee from the real espresso machine rather than the nestle junk. The fresh fruits are really good.

The cleaning crew did an awesome job of sorting out our room every day when we were gone.

The internet speeds are outstanding in our rooms.

This hotel is an great location to walk around Lisboa, it was super convenient to do a lot of the Rick Steves neighborhood walks from here.

It costs about 20 Euros in a taxi to come from the airport to this hotel.

We were so happy that we are able to travel again after 2 years and even more happier one of our first stays was in a hotel as nice as this one. I whole heartedly recommend this place in your next visit to wonderful Lisboa.

Booked via EasyJet Holidays for a three night stay at the end of March ‘22.
A lovely hotel with friendly staff, an excellent, broad choice breakfast (with fizz!) and a number of added extras such as complimentary pastéis de nata (the little egg tarts) and bottled water at reception, and an included mini bar in the room - if you are eco friendly and don’t change your bedding and towels every day.
The rooms are spacious, comfortable, clean and contemporary with a luxurious bed, flat screen tv (not watched), safe, aforementioned minibar, desk, wifi etc.
We had a ‘city view’ room on the fifth (top) floor, which provided a view of the Castelo de S. Jorge (castle) from the full length opening Juliette windows. The blinds were electrically operated which was a neat touch, the full length black out curtains kept light and any city noise at bay.
Finally; its location… excellent. Five minutes walk to the Praça do Comércio. One minute from the Santa Justa Lift.

A couple of other points to note:
It cost 27 euro in a taxi from the airport, but only 8 euros to get back with Uber. The Uber driver said that the airport terminal taxis are used by tourists and the drivers charge ‘tourist prices’. Best book an Uber or a Bolt to collect from T1 taxi drop off / pick up and save money.
Download the Bolt app and use their electric scooters to zip along the water front. We went all the way to Belem and back. Great fun. Bolt is significantly cheaper than Lime, Bird etc.
We really enjoyed the Hippo Trip. It covered much of the city centre that you see on the yellow and red buses and gives an alternative view of the key Belem sites from land and water.
Take comfortable shoes. We did just under 30k steps one day!

The hotel is in the center of Lisbon, 15 min drive from airport. We drove there and parked the car in front of hotel lobby on the street and hotel staff valet parked it (32 euro/night, but hotel gave us free parking). Our room has 2 French doors opening to small balcony with street view. The spacious bathroom even has its own French door opening to its own balcony. The bathroom has two shower heads so two can shower together. It has two sinks also. The room comes with a small couch positioned in front of bed where you can sit and watch TV. The mini bar has bottled water, coke, juice and beer, all free (provided daily). The closet in the room has bath robe/slippers and hair drier. The bed has best luxurious linens and most comfortable pillows. The curtains totally block light at night providing a restful sleep. Fresh backed Portuguese desert provided daily in room. We even got a free bottle of champagne as a welcome gift. The free buffet breakfast has a good selection of fruits and other goodies including smoked salmon! We ate at the nearby fabulous “time -out market” (recommended by hotel staff, thanks) for dinner three times and loved the grilled sea bream from Monte Mar! The most wonderful hotel staff also booked us Covid testing in the pharmacy right across from the hotel (25 euro per person for the test) and it took 5 mins to get the testing done and got results in 30 mins. Loved the hotel!

I’ve stayed here so many times and love this little boutique hotel. Rooms are really pretty and it has an intimite feel. Beds are very comfortable and the location could not be better just a few steps away from praça do comerço and Chiado as well as Liberdade. Breakfast is very nice, the small bar is great to sit down and work and staff is super friendly at front desk. Be patient with the bar service though which is a bit slower. This hotel feels like home and I love the family rooms that have two connecting rooms with bathroom each for a very good price.

The staff at the Hotel da Baixa are very conscientious about offer guests as comfortable a visit as possible. After our over night flight, they were very helpful to gives us access to our room as soon as possible. This was greatly appreciated, particularly by my wife.
Our room was nicely appointed. Our bathroom covered all of the requirements well.
The hotel is situated in a super location in Baixa, central Lisbon. We were in easy walking distance to many major sites as well as public transpiration. The area is restaurant rich as well.
Breakfast at the hotel was served as a buffet. Service was again excellent. There is a nice variety of buffet options.
The only drawback is that space in the public areas of the hotel are small and a bit cramped. But that is true of most hotels in Lisbon center.

I recently came back from a trip I took with my girlfriends (we were four). We booked a family room which is actually two rooms with a shared corridor which meant having two bathrooms! The rooms were clean, the mini bar is free and stacked everyday. There are free water bottles to take with you when you head in or out at the lobby which I feel is very thoughtful. There is an AC control panel in each room but the system is controlled by the front desk and they could easily fix it for you if you're having temperature issues such as we did as one of our rooms being in the inner part of the hotel was kind of warm when we first checked in. They allowed us to check in early as our flight came in the morning, they also offered us breakfast for free while waiting for our room. All the staff that we met had been very nice, polite and accommodating in such a natural way like it is innate to them. As for the location, the hotel is right at the center of Baixa district in a relatively flat area where you could easily walk to restaurants, shops, tourist attractions and transportation hubs. We did avail of the airport transfer offered by the hotel and tours arranged by them through a company Lisboa Panorama Tours. Our driver Frederico picked us up from the airport, drove for us during our entire trip, and drove us back to the airport for our flight home. He was very punctual, engaging and accommodated the trips based on our interests. He made us see Portugal on a local's perspective , and took us to places we didn't expect to visit at all on this trip. He was not just driving for us, he became a friend and made our trip to Portugal unforgettable that we are already thinking of coming back.

I don’t normally write reviews here, but, because Hotel da Baixa made our first trip to Europe since the start of the pandemic so pleasant, comfortable, and enjoyable while in their care, I wanted to write a review in gratitude.

Prior to booking our stay at Hotel da Baixa, I asked a friend who lives in Lisbon whether the hotel location would be well situated for our first trip to Lisbon and she confirmed that it was. She was correct. The location was near to restaurants (Da Prata 52 is highly recommended), tourist sites, and nearly everything we sought to visit in Lisbon.

After a long international flight, I arrived to the Lisbon airport, but my suitcase did not; I made contact with the airport luggage resolution desk and provided them with the contact information for Hotel da Baixa. The cab from the airport was only 25 euros or so and I notified the hotel staff of my suitcase issue. The hotel staff provided some essential items (e.g., toothbrush, etc.) and we checked into the room.

The room exceeded any expectations. The view of the street from the room window was lovely; we were excited to enjoy a room with such a wonderful view. The bathroom? The water pressure was sublime and the marble a nice touch. I took a nap and my suitcase had been received by the front desk and delivered to my room. Such a nice touch.

Ruben and the hotel manager, among other staff, went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable during our stay. Can’t wait to return. Highly recommend. Thank you, Hotel da Baixa!

Family trip . 2 parents, and twins age 24.
We stayed at baixa hotel 10 unforgettable days.
Each of the workers in baixa is so friendly.
We became mostly friends with Joanna in the reception, aayesha in the dinning room Miguel on the lobby.
The rooms are grate, you always get water each day, the coffee machine is grate, the location of the hotel is perfect and a street above you can do pcr test before leaving.
We had a private driver taking us for 2 days trip. His name is bruno and he speaks perfect English as well as Spanish. If you need ask me for his phone.
We will come back to baixa hotel !!!!!! For sure

We used the Portuguese arm of Enterprise but picked up at Lisbon Airport. Very easy pickup and drop off and Hotel was excellent about taking/retrieving car for us. They might know if there is a branch closer than the airport. Also, if you drive out on the highways be very mindful of the toll roads. It can be tricky!
