Had a 3 night stay in this hotel and found both positive and negative points.
Positives:
Very clean, friendly helpful staff, fantastic breakfast, comfortable beds. Central location however does involve an approx 15 min walk to main tourist area but this was fine with us as you get to see things on the walk down. Bus stop right by hotel if you want to take the bus or it’s right by stop 1 on the hop on hop off buses, so ideal if you have a hop on hop off bus pass.
Negatives:
1) Window/door in our room to our horror opened fully without a balcony or barrier or anything to stop you falling out. Discussed with reception who advised this should not open however it did. She did send a maintenance man straight away to fix problem who was extremely helpful and friendly and fixed the problem (An email has been sent to highlight my concerns as feel a safety measure needs putting in place)
2) Booked and paid for double and on arrival was allocated a room with 2 singles pushed together. When questioned was advised “we try to accommodate a double bed but this is not always possible” TIP : Check when you check in that you are getting what you have requested.

Really had a fabulous stay at this hotel. Perfect for a city break and a base for exploring. Easy to walk to main squares by foot about 15 mins or there is a metro station accoss the road which can link you to all parts of the city. The hotel is clean and modern. It has a lovely little bar and the drinks are very reasonable. When I checked in the man on reception was very helpful, the hotel had taken note of this weekend being my boyfriend's birthday gift and had placed us in a room I had requested and also left a welcome bottle of wine fruit and chocolate in the room, a really lovely touch! As we arrived in the evening the man on reception was able to reserve us a table at a restaurant near by which was a great help so that we didn't have to go looking for one and the food was absolutely delicious! The bar men were also fantastic and very attentive. I would say that the staff in this hotel are brilliant. The room was also clean and modern. It had a small mini bar which reasonable priced drinks. Yes there is no kettle however there is plenty of coffee shops locally so grab a coffee on the go! I would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to others.

The first thing I noticed was that it was a super clean hotel. Spotless! We stayed at a 5* nearby and it wasn’t as clean as this hotel. The 24-hour concierge was helpful as our 6.30am flight was delayed and after we checked out they let us back into the hotel again to stay in the room until the actual checkout time. When we left at 4am, we weren’t asked if we took anything from the minibar so assumed it was free. If we hadn’t gone back, we wouldn’t have had to pay for the minibar but we were asked when we checked out for a second time - so FYI you do have to pay :P the room was also lovely, felt spacious, and good value for money. Location is quite good, not far from nearby scooters you can use to get into the proper centre. Would highly recommend this hotel if looking for an affordable stay in an excellent location. Big beds. Only criticism is that the barman was slow and seemed untrained.

We stayed several nights here and then again at the end of our trip. Staff were welcoming, breakfast was tasty, and room very clean and comfortable. The best part was the location: we felt very safe walking the neighborhood after dark, there were many shops and restaurants very close, and the coffee shop/bar across street was perfect. Metro 2 blocks.

Absolutely perfect stay.
Staff are extremely helpful, friendly and nothing too much trouble. Both check in and check out perfect, no waiting around at all and very fast. Able to leave luggage on last day as late flight home and this was securely put away with a ticket to present to collect, have not experienced the ticket collection before and found this very reassuring that luggage was secure.
Room was amazing, extremely clean and serviced daily to a high standard. Beds very comfortable with lovely soft pillows. Bathroom a good size with a fab powerful shower. Air conditioning great as not noisy at all.
Fab breakfast with plenty of choice, lots of choice of fresh fruit available daily, fab cakes and plenty of other breakfast selection both hot and cold.
Location is at the top of a long avenue which involves a long walk down the avenue right into the centre. Perfect if you don’t mind walking and a nice stroll with lots of shops.
Right by the hotel on the roundabout is stop 1 of the hop on hop off your buses so perfect to buy your ticket and start your sightseeing. ( nothing to do with hotel but recommend getting the Lisbon sightseeing greyline company rather than city sightseeing company as buses appear more frequent. We made the mistake of choosing city sightseeing and spent ages waiting for a bus when 2 or 3 of the other bus company arrived while waiting for ours).
All in all a beautiful stay at a great hotel. This is our 2nd stay here and would definitely use again if we return to Lisbon. Highly recommend this hotel.

Booked the hotel on Agoda.com and received directly from the hotel that they are indefinitely closed. They offered to transfer to their sister property Eurostart Lisboa Parque which is not of the same standard, namely it's tired, very loud because of the metro line next attached to the hotel building as well as very loud AC.
The most ridiculous part is that I accepted the transfer trusting it would be good but it turned to be a disappointment. How is the hotel allowed to actively advertise and sell when they know they are closed. This is a scam and should be banned.
They charged me EUR 12.- for breakfast which is a fair price but they don't mention to you that you get it for free if you booked directly with them. All in all, the stay costed more than it could have because of poor communication from these hotel management company.

Perfect location with the hotel about 20 walk downhill into town centre or 2 minute walk to the Metro - Marques de Pombal. We used a viva viagem card for zapping our way around . Can get anywhere in Lisboa really quickly and cheaply . Rooms were spotless and kept that way during our stay . Room could have done with a chest of drawers or some drawers in the bedside tables as storage was not generous. Breakfast was a simple but tasty buffet with hot or cold choices. Staff worked hard to refresh buffet and keep the tables free. Place is all you need for a good base to explore Lisboa.

The hotel is located in a quiet and modern area, near the beginning of Avenida Da Liberdade, a tree-lined street with all the designer shops. the Hotel is easily accessible, not far (and therefore convenient when you have luggage) from the Marques De Pombal metro stop. Hotel with modern furnishings, comfortable rooms without carpet and spacious bathroom (there is no bidet !n :-).
Good breakfast, with different choices between savory and sweet. Courteous staff, I am satisfied with the choice.

Positives were it was a clean room with a nice bathroom.
The downsides were breakfast was not restocked regularly we would get down 45 minutes before it was due to finish and none of the fruit, hot food or cakes were replenished. We had two fire alarms wake us up in the morning…when we asked reception we were told they were just false maybe caused but someone showering it happens. No apology and sounds like it happens regularly so you think they would look at some ventilation in the bathrooms but there was none. On our last night, we could smell cigarette smoke in our room when going to bed. This was still present in the morning so we both woke up with a headache and again when reported to reception no apology just some people smoke when they shouldn’t. We’ve stayed in sister hotels in Europe and they were great so we were very disappointed by this stay.

Very well located for visiting the city, with a nearby metro, although a pleasant walk along Avenida da Liberdade visiting its shops will bring you closer to Plaza del Rosio and Plaza del Comercio.
Parking at the hotel at a good price is appreciated, be very careful at the entrance there is a big pothole where you can damage the underside of the car.
The attentive and pleasant staff.
BUT..... as they said in another comment, I got a room that overlooked a backyard taken from the ruins of a combat zone, a dark room, without views and too small. What bothered me the most is that I bothered to make the reservation directly on the hotel's website and I think they should have better treatment with this type of clientele. I don't know if I will repeat because very close there is a 4* from the same chain at a very similar price.

Hi, what’s the best way to get from Lisbon international airport to the hotel (not taxi?).
Answer from Mariella P
Brussels, Belgium14 contributions5 helpful votes
We took the metro. The hotel is really close to the metro station. And the Lisbon metro is nice and not expensive. The station is in the terminal and there are ticket machines. If you are not travelling with lots of luggage this is the perfect option.
Answer from Dugan

Yes, our flight arrived late at 11:30. We were able to get the Metro from the airport to Marquis de Pombal station (closes at 1:00) and walk 3 minutes to the hotel. They offer 24 hour check-in and we’re quite happy to greet us at 12:30.

Si, no es muy difícil, pero es zona azul. Sin embargo, si aparcas a partir de las 18h ya no tienes que pagar. El Barrio es bastante seguro.
