The LX Boutique Hotel garners accolades for its exceptionally friendly staff and the cleanliness of its rooms, which guests have described as impeccable. While the hotel's prime location is a highlight for visitors, offering easy access to nearby attractions, the vibrant nightlife on Pink Street often leads to noise disruptions, which is a recurring point of concern despite the provision of earplugs.
Opinions on the hotel's value are mixed, with some guests praising the reasonable pricing and others dissatisfied with comfort levels.

We escaped from a bad airb&b experience to this hotel, thank goodness they had a room. It was like chalk and cheese. This place is wonderful. Beautiful room and bathroom. Clean, comfortable. Mini pastel del nata and port offered in the lobby on the Saturday. How lovely, welcoming and delicious. Great, friendly, efficient staff. Couldn’t fault it and didn’t want to leave!

The relatively small hotel is well located close to the river. From here it is affordable to reach the districts of Baixa and Bairro Alto on foot, and can therefore be a good starting point for your own LX (Lisboa Experience). There is even a metro station on the opposite side of the square from which the hotel is located, and tram line 15 takes you to Belem at approx. 20 minutes. The hotel is furnished with nice rooms in a modern style. An extremely well-functioning and spacious bathroom completes the room, where there is a Nespresso machine available. At the reception, the staff provide good guidance for the area and can give good advice on transport in the city. The breakfast is well assorted with several varieties of buns, toast and yogurt and more. Plenty of fruit completes the assortment. You get coffee and tea yourself from an automated coffee machine. The restaurants nearby liven up in the evening, and there are plenty of opportunities to eat a good meal very close to the hotel.

Everything in this hotel is wonderful. The rooms, the cleaning, the breakfast, the reception staff, the bathroom is beautiful. It has disposable chinchilla and even rsrs people. It's all amazing. I stayed on the 5th floor. The windows have double glass which reduces bar noise by 98% in the room. Great, super recommend. It's worth it. The location is also perfect.

I spent 2 nights in Lisbon in June 2024 as the last part of a trip I took. The Lx Boutique Hotel is centrally located and pretty much you can walk anywhere in Lisbon from there and also right next to major transportation hub. on checking I was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a room with a balcony overlooking the river. The rooms were quite nice and clean with all modern comforts. The floor I was on was named Fado and my room had decorative wall paper with Fado instruments. Being a musician I appreciated that. The staff was very friendly and helpful with any hotel or sight seeing info I asked about. The only thing I would mention, the hotel is next to several party locations so it can be a bit lively late into the night. The doors and windows did a good job of blocking the noise out. I would recommend the Lx Boutique Hotel to others! Looking forward to staying again

We stayed in this hotel through booking it via booking.com, upon arrival we were really pleasantly surprised at how nice the hotel is. The hotel is really nicely decorated and the rooms were very nice as well. Considering the use of this hotel was to be a base only whilst we explored Lisbon, I do not think I could have picked a better hotel. It is really centrally located and within seconds walk of all public transport and within a ten minute walk of central Lisbon. The staff were really helpful and their English was exceptionally good. My only issue with the hotel was an issue with noise from the neighbouring nightclub, between 12am and 6am the bass could be heard and felt through the building upto the 4th floor. I did request a room change and the staff were so accommodating that they arranged this immediately. The new room had wonderful views across the Tagus river and of the 25 de Abril Bridge. It really is a lovely hotel, but if you are booking, then request the quiet side of the hotel.

I rarely write reviews, since I'm not that hard to please. Also, I have kids. In this case, however, I will make an exception. I had the misfortune of staying at the LX Boutique on October 2024. If your room is on the lower floors, you will not sleep. Neighbouring Rua Rosa is a party street with plenty of bars, but the real kicker is a nightclub, that will pound their techno into your ears from midnight to 6 AM. Every night, not just weekends. The hotel knows this and provides free earplugs in the room, which should have made me run for the door, but I naively trusted the positive online reviews. Alas, the earplugs are as much use as a plaster on a wooden leg since the music is so loud it makes the windows sing. I did not sleep until 6 AM when the music died. Get a room on the 4th or 5th floors and you should be okay. This may be why you will find surprisingly many positive reviews (either that or they are paid for). Next, more bad news: Express your legitimate concern about this and LX Boutique turns into a modern-day real-life Fawlty Towers. One receptionist said: "This is the city centre", hinting I was an imbecile for wanting to sleep in a hotel. I knew noise from the street was a problem and had been promised a room on the upper floors months in advance, but upon arrival, a receptionist shrugged: "All is booked. We can't guarantee rooms on upper floors will be available." Which is the opposite of what my booking agent had been told. I said I would have to make a complaint and notify my agency. This only made the receptionist visibly and oddly upset. His response was (verbatim): "OK, you tell your boss, I'll tell mine!" Tell him what, that you failed to provide what you promised, and that you now add insult to injury? I have worked as a travel writer and tour manager for more than 25 years and can honestly say, this is a contender to the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. 4 stars? The boutique in LX Boutique is for show. It's a pretty bad stay with a pretty bad service. Worse part is they know half their customers will have a horrible night with virtually no sleep due to noise, but they somehow find this to be OK. Also, bathrooms are weird with sticky floors made of laminated rope, I suspect in a failed attempt to give a "maritime atmosphere", rooms are shoe box small and most staff do not seem to know they work in the hospitality business.
*Update: After a brief and not too pleasent conversation, the hotel got me a room on the 5th floor for the last two nights of my stay, which my agency had already paid for. I appreciate this, but it was what was agreed upon all along, and it doesn't change my mind about LX Boutique. ** Update: In Fawlty Towers an Irish man tells the hotelier, Basil: ‘Just remember Mr Fawlty there’s always someone worse off than you.’ Basil: ‘Really? I’d love to meet them I could do with a bloody laugh.’

This was our first time staying at the LX Boutique hotel. This one in Lisbon is in a very convenient location to trains, metro, tram etc. You can easily walk from the train station ( we had only carry on luggage and back bags, but if you are traveling with heavy multiple luggage you will need a taxi . It will cost about € 10 ). Belem is only 7 mins ride away, Cascais about 40 mins away by train. We visited both cities. The staff in the hotel is absolutely wonderful! Everybody is helpful behind the Front Desk as well in the breakfast restaurant! The breakfast has everything you need, lovely set up and I appreciate how clean and organized they keep the food display, thank you! The area has lots of restaurants and cafes to choose from. There’s a Time Out Market near by that is enormous, much bigger than in Porto, and we thought that was huge :). Pink street is lively at night and had some street performers that we enjoyed to watch. We are an elderly couple in our seventies but in good shape and like to walk ( yesterday we took over 17,000 steps! ). Anyways, we had a good night sleep at the hotel after all the walking so the noise didn’t bother us at all. Thank you LX Boutique Hotel!

The room was spacious and luxurious, very tastefully decorated. The bed was comfortable. The complimentary bottle of water, ear plugs and slippers were a nice detail. The room overlooked Pink Street but was well sound-insulated with the windows and shutters closed. The location was perfect, right next to the Metro and the heart of the city. I will definitely return to this hotel.

Hello, This hotel has no parking. Because the hotel is on a slop with a lot of traffic, it seems difficult to park in front of hotel to even unload luggage. The best choice is to take a taxi there. Betty
