If you are looking for a quiet and clean place where you can rest, then this might not be your option. We had a very noisy apartment coming from the street. But the place was big, had a fully equiped kitchen and super good located!

The apartment is modern, fully equipped with amenities like kettle, toaster, washing machine, oven, microwave, fridge etc. The location was centrally located with easy access to metro and next to the shopping street and restaurants. Staff are super helpful especially Jose Pais.

Pros: - Easy access to the property via door codes (vs. keys) - Large and comfortable space (especially for Europe) with a very nice kitchen and bedroom. We also really appreciated the washing machine since we had our baby with us, who uses a lot of laundry! - Included baby bundle for our almost 11 month old daughter (toy bin...

This is an exceptional place to stay for the price. We booked a junior studio and it was great. It had a kitchenette, washing machine, little dining area and was clean. Located away from the hustle and bustle in a quite off-street, however walking distance to a number of sights Downstairs has a dryer - however note that it is...

I stayed at The Lisbonaire Apartments very soon after they opened in 2011, and was impressed with the hip styling, comfortable spaces and great location... five years later I'm still impressed. The concept of promoting local graphic designers and artists is still a great idea and the quality of design is such that it hasn't dated and remains relevant. On...

The Lisbonaire Apartments exceeded our expectations. The apartment was large, spacious, and had high ceilings. It was a very comfortable stay. Even the single beds were very comfortable. Additionally, the apartment was very clean and well taken care of. The location was also excellent and close to train station, attractions, restaurants...etc. I would recommend the Lisbonaire Apartments to families, couples,...

Good location, short walk (but uphill) to Bairro Alto, and Rossio station. A spacious apartment. I brought my own washing powder, and made use of the washing machine inside the apartment The check-in/out process was super easy. We were given two door codes which we used to enter the apartment complex and our apartment. My only complaint would perhaps be...

Well located and spacious apartment. Clean and kitchen well equipped. The staff are very helpful and friendly. There is a basement which has pool, table tennis and an honesty bar which we found useful.

What a pleasant surprise arriving in this modern location right in the center of the city. Very neat, spacious, comfortable, impeccably clean apartment decorated in an original, modern design. Fully equipped kitchen: espresso machine, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine… Very friendly, helpful young gentlemen at the reception, promptly responding to requests. Towels and bed linen changed at least every two days....

Staying in Chiado & Carmo

Neighbourhood Profile
Chiado & Carmo
The traditionally trendy "Chiado" (literally, "squeak", the nickname of a 16th century poet) offers plenty of cafes, restaurants and bars where you can stop for a cafe or cocktail, after exploring its streets, shops, art galleries, theaters, museums and viewpoints. It's also the home to the statue of the famous statue of portuguese poet Fernando Pessoa, having is usual espresso at "A Brasileira" as he used to. You can also enjoy breathtaking views of Lisbon from the Elevador de Santa Justa or the Carmo Convent, for example. A commercial neighborhood at its core, especially for its Garrett and Carmo streets, Chiado is to this day a mandatory visit in Lisbon.
