We found this to be a very good hotel. The staff are courteous, very helpful and willing to assist with directions. Unfortunately we did encounter a few problems - the food from the buffet was quite average and the room was quite a tight squeeze for 3 people. We also weren’t advised we needed to put a sign on the door requesting our room to be cleaned / to receive new towels & due to this, we didn’t receive this service
Well located near the airport and right next door to the wonderful Guggenheim Museum and park. Some plane noise of course but not too bad. Comfortable room with a great shower. Beautifully clean! And a very comfortable bed (with rather strange bedclothes arrangement wrapped around a duvet). Slightly miffed by refusal to print off my boarding pass for my homeward flight especially as I had been told the night before that this could be done for me. But easily done on the mobile phone these days. Really good buffet breakfast with a huge range of different foods and drinks for just about every taste.
My wife and I visited the Olissippo Marques de Sa in October. First of all and best, the hotel is only a casual 10 minute walk to the metro. Within 10-15 minutes you are in downtown Lisbon. The hotel has all the great things you like in a hotel. Good and competant staff. Nice rooms with TV and working appliances. It has a bar and restaurant on the main floor. We had supper there on our arrival and Yes the food is good at the restaurant. They gave us a Welcome tray of meat, cheese and two little bottles of wine, Free of charge. The morning breakfast has a large variety. There are a number of restaurants all around the area, so you can have other meals if you wish. They have a car park below the hotel with easy elevator ride from your floor to your car. There is a temporary car park at the main door to drop off your bags and secure luggage hold area if you need it. All in All,,a Great place to spend your days in Lisbon.…
My friends and I stayed recently for a few nights. It is a very clean hotel and the staff was very kind and accommodating. The location was great as it is a short walk to the metro and not too long of a walk to city center. There is a variety of cafes and restaurants within a block or two that were very good as well. I would stay here again in the future.
I had already paid for a ten-day stay in a Guest House on the same street, which had no air conditioning, and the temperature was 34 degrees Celsius and I could not sleep, and the heat had gotten me down. I saw this hotel passing by, found it on a website, walked over to see if I could book it directly - I couldn't - though the said I could use the free WiFi to book the hotel. It was amazing! I checked into the room shortly before 2 PM and checked out shortly before 12 Noon the next day. It was well worth the stay - the room was air-conditioned . The room was large, good proportions, well-furnished, television with many channels. Blackout curtains. Flatscreen TV with many channels. Very quiet - very appealing. The breakfast buffet was amazing - wide selection of anything you could want for breakfast - from eggs to fruits to vegetables to cheeses to breads, to juices - even with two espresso machines. The location of the hotel is superb - almost just across the street from the Gulbenkian, close to the Sao Sebastio Metro Station, close to El Corte Ingles, close to Lidl - and the most wonderful, most helpful, most amazing front desk staff. I tried to book more nights, but alas, they were totally booked. A very welcome respite from my non-airconditioned Guest House. I would gladly stay here again.…
