Stayed for a night during my first visit to Lisbon in November 2019. The hotel is vertically large hotel so when you enter you may fail to assume its size. it is a very nice looking modern hotel with new modern rooms and a great view from the window. The hotel is close by to the Liberty Avenue and other places of attraction like Praca di commercio. The breakfast has a large spread and is really tasty. Will suggest to take an UBER and not regular taxis for commute. All in all time well spent in the Hotel. From all the Hotels i have seen in Lisbon (actually 4) this is the place i will like to come back again.
As other reviewers have said, this hotel is a bit removed from tourist areas and the center of town. Long hikes were necessary to get around. Re the hotel itself: it's also a business hotel, and most of the guests I saw arriving fit that bill. No doubt taxi rides by business people are considered normal; however, I prefer to be able to walk and get to know a town by foot. All the reception staff were pleasant and helpful, with one particularly nice bellhop retrieving my coin purse I'd left on the front sidewalk after paying my taxi from the airport. I was so grateful! Our room was spacious and clean with a view looking toward town. However, the bathroom had one of the most ill-conceived designs we'd ever encountered. In order to have any privacy in the bedroom, blinds on one of the bathroom's glass walls had to be lowered. Who wants to look into the bathtub and beyond while reclining in bed? To be even further confusing, those controls were located on the inside of the tub.... The toilet area was also fully mirrored which was again another embarrassment. It seems a shame that such an otherwise pleasant hotel should choose to have these kinds of "design elements". This seems most unlike any Sheraton hotel in other countries. In sum, due to the location and the odd bathroom design, I wouldn't choose to stay here again. It's a pity because the staff was so professional and helpful.…
Everything was very nice and the staff was very helpful and professional. The rooms were a good size and very comfortable. And the location is excellent, centrally located to many interesting parts of the City.
This hotel is located in the more business part of the city. For visitors, it is not really far from the old town, but it will still take more than 20 minutes by foot. One of the really great things of the hotel is the view. Especially from the top Panorama bar. It is simply the best view in Lisbon. Be aware that cocktails are quite expensive there, €13-€18. Rooms are nice, and have clearly been modernized recently. I found the bathroom quite old, was only glass walls, and doors that are never completely closing, including for the toilets. The hotel has also a nice spa with a very small indoor pool (more a jacuzzi), as well as larger outdoor one.
I don't typically stay this far from the core of the Lisbon's Central district, but with the popularity of the city now days, sometimes you have to look beyond the usual hotels. The Sheraton boasts the best view in Lisbon -- for that it's worth a stay. Plus, the room rate are significantly less expensive than the more boutique hotels in Central Lisbon. The rooms are modern and clean. No issues at all. The lounge is nice too. The only issue is that the walk back to the central core is a bit long -- not unreasonable -- just that many things you want to see, places you want to eat -- are not immediately locates. We ended up taking a taxi or Uber. Which at Lisbon prices are not expensive at all.
"High floors have a great view, but it takes a while to come downstairs since the elevators stop on every floor to pick up other passengers."Read full review
