Detailed Reviews
The hotel is immaculately clean with great-sized rooms and staff that are so helpful and knowledgeable about the various ways to get around the city. The breakfast in the morning had plenty of options, something for everyone. Our room had twin beds that were really comfortable each had two lovely soft bouncy pillows. There was a wardrobe with plenty of clothes hangers and a great bath/shower room with shower gel and hand cleaners provided. The room was equipped with a large dressing table, a small fridge, a kettle and a variety of teas which was a nice touch. We only stayed one night after cruising for 10 days so in order to see most of the city we used the hop on hop off busses. The tickets give you access to the bus plus local trams amd funiculars and is valid for 24 hours, ideal for our stay. The metro system is very easy to use and negotiate around, we used the metro for travelling into the city. It was about a ten-minute walk to the nearest station. The area around the hotel has a large variety of local shops, bakeries and restaurants. It is a very relaxed spot where you can sit outside a cafe/restaurant and watch the world go by. I would definitely recommend the Neya Lisboa Hotel to anyone travelling to Lisbon. You wont be disappointed. It's where I would book if I travel to the city again.

Overall a really lovely hotel. The breakfast is great with a large selection, the staff are attentive and kind, everything is clean, and we love the efforts for sustainability. Two drawbacks during our stay: the wifi and the room cards. We had numerous troubles using their (very stylish) wooden room cards to where we had to visit the reception 3 times to have them reactivate the key. If any Neya corporate employees are reading this, it was a good decision for brand coherence, but practically, it's not worth it. Additionally, the wifi was unreliable which would have been really inconvenient if we had to work during this trip. For fellow tourists, this quarter of Lisbon is really lovely and local, however, it is a bit far from the points of interest of the city.

Explored Lisbon with my sister and stayed in Neya Hotel Lisboa. Location of the hotel was so close to the centre of Lisbon - bus stop is directly in front of the hotel which was so convenient. Bolt and Uber was also available and quite cheap so we used these a lot during our trip. Breakfast was good too, kept us going through the day. We had a few problems with our pillows as they were quite hard, kindly asked the housekeeping team to provide us softer pillows and by the time we got back in the hotel room we have 4 extra pillows that are softer. All staff were quite helpful and welcoming. They also had a luggage storage which is useful if you’re flight is later than the check out time. Our bed was always made which was nice to come back too. If I were to come back to Lisbon would definitely stay again in Neya.

Hotel with a location a little away from the center... I faced the price have been more attractive. You have to make sure it pays off. Region is out in the central area and with little choice of good restaurants. We were in two, so we only used Uber. You have to make the bill if you are going to make 2 travel per day (dinner and lunch) if you pay pg less. The reception staff are attentive, cleanliness ok, enxoval room and bathroom ok. The breakfast by the evaluations expected more...
No we overcame and could improve...the waiters instead of talking...could remove dirty dishes from the tables...simple things that any hotel of this size is part of the routine..
Anyway, I don't think I'd come back.

My stay at this hotel was, unfortunately, a major disappointment. The breakfast offered a variety of foods, unfortunately accompanied by an unacceptable number of flies on the dishes, which completely compromised the experience. Furthermore, the staff's service fell far short of expectations; not only lacking in friendliness, but also extremely rude in their interactions.
The room, besides failing to meet basic expectations, lacked essential amenities such as enough towels for all guests, resulting in inconvenience and discomfort throughout the stay.
The only silver lining was the massage at the Spa, which provided a moment of relaxation amidst this disastrous experience. However, even this positive experience was overshadowed by the poorly maintained and dirty structure of the hot tub, which fell short in terms of hygiene and upkeep.
Overall, my stay at this hotel was marked by a series of shortcomings and disappointments, and I cannot recommend this establishment to other travelers in search of a pleasant and comfortable experience.

Although we didn't spend much time in Lisbon we we completely satified. We had a room for 3 and even with a rollaway bed it was spacious. The room was perfectly prepared for 3 people, sometimes on our trip in other hotels there was only 2 set of towels. The bathroom was spacious with a nice shower. The hotel is extremely green conscious and does everything they can to make a truly sustainable Hotel. The breakfast was very good and had a nice selection. A comment on a previous review was complaining about the lack of good coffee in Portugal. However, we enjoyed the coffee in the hotel but may not be coffee connoisseurs. The staff spoke excellent English and were always very helpful doing what ever they could. One morning I was up a bit early (630) and wanted to sit outside and relax. I was informed that the outside chairs came out at 7, I understood and thanked him and was ready to move on but then eariler than usual they moved chairs outside so I could sit, that impressed me. The hotel is not in a very tourist area which is what we wanted but several very good restaurants in the immediate atea. It's a 15 minute ride from the airport. For a 4 star it was very reasonable. If we ever get back to Lisbon this will definitely be our hotel. Can't say enough to praise this place!

Correct set.
The rooms are clean but the bedding would be good to change (we could feel the springs of the mattress)
Close to the road but very well soundproofed because we couldn't hear the cars passing by.
Friendly staff.
Speak French at reception. Small downside is that you don't speak French at the bar or at the spa, a bit of a shame for having fun.
Overall it is a very good establishment.
I won't judge the breakfast because at the price it was offered (15€) we didn't have it.

this hotel is located in between metro stations and near several bus routes so not a bad location to start from, most of Lisbon is up and down hill this is in a nearly flat area, so not the worst. Restaurant was closed except for breakfast , but we eat out with no difficulty. several mini marts nearby for food/drink. Bar was open lunchtime and evening. You are out of town slightly but bus fare anywhere was only 1.50 euro if you have a card. Hotel was clean and room nice, breakfast buffet was good, have had bigger and better in larger hotels, but quality was in line with size of hotel. Would I recommend this hotel , yes I would, but you are not in the heart of the action as such

Neya and it’s eco values were strongly executed and made us feel very welcome. All of the staff were very polite and attentive.
The breakfast was very comprehensive, with a tasty supply of pastries, cold meats and cheese, fruit, cereal, several bread choices and some hot eggs and bacon.
The room we had (508) was attractive, spacious and well equipped, the only issue we felt with the room is there were some minor signs of wear and tear like a rip and small holes in the curtains/voiles, some wallpaper ripped behind the armchair, the shower seal leaked and one bedside table drawer wouldn’t open. The sliding glass bathroom door is a bit noisy for late night loo trips so may be an issue to light sleepers. The only other minor criticism is the number of plug points to charge items by the bed was very limited so meant charging phones or devices had to be done the opposite side of the room. We feel these points didn’t impact our stay but would be nice to be addressed to maintain the otherwise perfect standard as a 4* hotel.
It is not slap bang in the central district of Lisbon but this was a blessing for us as it gave us a quieter retreat from the hustle and bustle. We made use of the Viagem 24 hour travel card and the very efficient metro system using the nearby metro stops of Anjos or Picoas to go back and forth into the city, and utilised the easy access from Saldanha metro stop which takes you to the Oriente station hub, or the airport. The trams run further away from the hotel, but the buses and metro made easy connections to these stops if we didn’t feel like walking so far.
We would definitely stay again, and next time might make use of the free bicycles on offer too.
