The Ikonik Hotel in Lisbon is located in a great area that once used to be a docking area and now it’s revamped with modern hotels, bars, restaurants and a great shopping mall nearby.
The hotel interior is modern, basic but very clean. The rooms are quite small with modern decor, clean and wall to wall windows. It’s sister hotel Eurostar is situated on the right hand side, therefore blocking the eastern view towards the river. In fact, if you choose a room on the east side of the building, your view will be the windows to the building next door. If you’re lucky to get a room facing west, you’ll have a nicer view of the town, but will constantly listen to the trains running at all hours even late at night. I was on the 13th floor and could still clearly hear the trains at night. My reason to give this hotel three stars was the fact that a constant sewage smell comes up through the pipes in the bathroom at all times, which becomes intolerable at times.
The hotel did include breakfast with my rate but it was pretty basic and the coffee wasn’t good compared to the coffee you can get at the coffee shops nearby.
I requested an additional extra hour after check out and was denied, although the hotel wasn’t completely occupied.
My job has me stay in hotels all over the world, and the staff at this location wasn’t particularly friendly nor attentive.

The Ikonik opened barely a month ago and it’s a great option close to the airport and the Oriente main station. The neighbourhood of Nacoes park is also a great place to be, lots of greenery and an awesome selection of restaurants.
The hotel rooms are not big but well thought out in terms of functionality and it’s definitely worth splashing out on one with a river view. Good value for money and super friendly and helpful staff.

Easily accessible from via metro from the airport to Cabo Ruivo, then just 5min walk.(tip: follow signs to hospital/marina)
Arrived hours early, so no room,  however it wasn't a problem , checked in,  left luggage and went off to explore. Hotel is located 5 mins walk from the Expo 98, aquarium, marina, resturants, shopping centre and other activities.
Returned hours later totally exhausted, given room key to a beautiful, modern, air conditioned, tastefully decorated room.
My room was opposite the lift and the design of the room meant I wasn't disturbed due to an internal door.
A bottle water provided and there is a mini bar, soft drinks. Within the room was a safe, toiletries & tv, there no tea making facilites. Great hotel for exploring Lisbon.

Very bad experience at this hotel. Air conditioner did not work in room, too hot to sleep. Tables in the breakfast room were not being cleaned with disinfectant. Bathroom in lobby had no soap or towels .
Complained to Reception manager and asked for a refund. Was told we could have a discount on a future stay. When I addressed the problem of no soap in the bathroom was told that the lobby bathroom is only for staff the guests bathroom is on the 1st floor. As far as the manager was concerned the air-conditioned doesn't work if you open the window. We never opened the window and spent the night sweating and no sleep, l have contacted the hotel and they refused to respond to me, I am very concerned that this hotel just opened and they are not providing soap in the bathroom for staff. We were supposed to stay for 3 nights but left after one. We had to do a covid test before returning to Canada and where very concerned that the hotel was not following the cleaning guidelines and we were put in danger of testing positive.

Stayed in the hotel for two nights with my partner and my 1 year old. Rooms was OK but there was no kettle in the room.
Service at the front desk was the worst i have ever experienced. Check in at 11, room was not ready as it completely understandable, took a long time and staff kept talking between themselfs instead of interacting with us. We left the hotel to explore while room was ready. We came back at 6pm and the receptionist assigned us a room that was not ready and expected us to keep waiting. We declined and asked for a new room.
Later that night we asked them if we could have some warm milk for our infant and were told they couldnt do it, my partner had to go a second time to ask again how was possible they did not have milk available and a way to heat it up. We finally were given milk.
Second night we asked again for the milk and we were told "we don't do that", they tried to content us saying housekeeping will bring the milk to the room. This time i went down really upset and asked how was it possible a hotel gave that excuse, and also to inform we were given the milk the previous day. No apologies or explanation. One of the staff on duty grabbed the bottle and not even 5 min later came with warm milk.

I am a Front Office Manager in a 4* Hotel and never in my career i have encounter such a poor trained staff & such little customer service.

This place is awful. The Internet doesn’t work in any of the rooms, the phones don’t work, there are no irons in the rooms, and the staff isn’t very helpful. The temperature in the room can’t go lower than 68° and the rooms are tiny. The bed feels like a wooden mattress and there are only two pillows. Stay away, there are far better hotels in Lisbon.

We needed a last-minute hotel because of a long flight delay and lost luggage. We opted for something close to the airport and our car rental office, and Ikonik in the Parque das Naçoes area fit the bill. The breakfast was very good at a reasonable price (€10). The room was clean and comfortable, if a bit spartan, overlooking the railway yard. We did not care about that but loved the comfort and great location in the Parque das Naçoes area, 2 blocks from the water and Oceanario. Check-in and out were a breeze, and we had a great night's sleep.

Friendly staff, very professional attitude. Rooms were modern, reasonably priced, tastefully designed, clean and comfortable, only problem is they only provided 1 pillow per person. Bottle water was provided and there is a mini bar, soft drinks. As we had a very early morning flight, we did not get a chance to sample their breakfast. Hotel is located 5 mins walk from the Expo 98 site, aquarium, marina, restaurants, and the Vasco Da Gama Mall, with lots of things to see and do.

This hotel is located in a great location to walk to restaurants on the river. Very clean with courteous staff. Breakfast offered options with eggs, fruit, meats, and pastries. I am not a breakfast eater and I found the food good. My husband loved everything, the coffee machines offered tasty selections. Not fancy m but if I am spending the day out sightseeing I want a clean hotel with excellent service, they check all the boxes. For the person who said there was no milk, our experience was there was milk for cereal if you wanted it.

You will notice the modern design of this beautiful hotel as soon as you step into the lobby. My husband and I stayed here for four nights in March with a tour group, so the hotel was chosen for us. The staff were friendly and helpful and service was excellent, even when they were busy. The included breakfasts were amazing - full choices of pastries, fruit, cheeses, hot entrees, various beverages and more. There was plenty of space in the large breakfast area and it was busy every morning as soon as they opened up, but it didn't feel overly crowded. We didn't find a lot of great restaurants in this area, but you could easily walk to the waterfront or visit the aquarium. Rather far from the central districts though - we took the metro - so that was the only drawback for us. We were also informed that this is the up and coming area of Lisbon. Overall, an excellent stay. 😃
