Though I had heard that the location of the hostel is quite full of robbers and drug addicts, I had a nice time there. I was warned that I should not wonder around it in night but actually that was never a problem! Location is near to the center and you have subway right next to it. Staff was really...

Is a classic hotel for a few days visit. Its ideal for moving around. But do not expect anything more. We visited during Christmas period and it was a value for money hotel. Try it if you are going with friends.

We stayed at Residencial Castromira for two nights in May, 2014. The staff were really wonderful, and all spoke at least some English. The owner, Isabel, is fluent, and as nice and accommodating as you could ask. The rooms are comfortable- not large, but large enough for luggage and to move around. The beds were comfortable, and we had a...

English-speaking, friendly staff. Near to the metro and easy to access the down town. Unfortunately, we got some skin allergic reaction, following our stay. Probably, the bed sheets or blankets were not clean? (Considering we are not new to Lisbon, and we have never experienced this before. We didn't consume any suspicious food or something during our stay either). Right...

My reservation was well noted and the concierge informed me that the hotel was closed because of low season, but I had a room across the street at the "Residencial do Sul". Please see my review on this for more details. The service was fine and very helpful.

Residencial Castromira offers quite a good location (10-15 minutes on foot to the centre of Lisbon) but in terms of comfort there is not much to expect. Rooms are small but clean with basic furniture and a telly. I didn't stay in the main building but in Residential Castromira II. Narrow staircase and steep stairs so you have to be...

I checked in the main building , but my room was in another across the street. The staff were friendly , the room clean but noisy as facing the main street. 20 minute walk from Lisbon central area. The area looked quite dodgy at night time, not too threatening but i wouldn't recommend female travellers to stay in this area....

We had a twin room with private bathroom, rather small and not luxuriously furnished, but for just sleeping in it was enough. Really excellent location, next to the famous tram Nr 28 and metro Intendente stops. Friendly staff, but don´t expect receipt automatically (only on our request). Payment required immediately upon your arrival to the hotel.

Last night in Portugal we thought we were staying in a Hotel very close the airport. As we drove closer to the location, we started to realize it was not a nice neighborhood (a bit scary to be carrying belongings); we went to the address given, only to be moved to another location; it was noisy and EXTREMELY hot!!! Not...
