This is a guest house where there are separate locked bedrooms with a common kitchen area. This owner is unusual in that she actually appears to care about your stay. She genuinely wants your stay to be perfect. The room was very clean, well designed and very comfortable to stay. We were on the 5th floor (they call it the...

A place you feel happy to wake up in and to go home to at night. Chearfull, super clean, cozy, with simple lovely details everywhere. On top of a small cinema (with non comercial movies) and a cafe thats also a bookstore. Its in CHiado, which together with the Alfama, are the best places to be in Lisbon. Bars, places...

A very clean and neat place. It is very close to metro, some nice cafes, sightseeing routes as well as great city viewpoints. There is kitchen if you want to cook and the host also is very helpful if you need some advice on places around. Wifi works well

This is my first ever review but this place was such a great find that I thought I should tell everyone! I was longing for a room to myself after sleeping in shared rooms for the past 2 weeks and booked this as a treat at the last minute. Happy at Chiado offered an en suite double room for the...

We stayed here while visiting Lisbon on the recommendation of a friend. I am so glad we found this place. I had the double bed apparent on the 4 floor with a private bathroom. For the price for 3 nights it could not be beaten. WiFi was great and the place was very clean and presentable. Carlos was an excellent...

We arrived later in the evening than we'd anticipated but, nevertheless, the really friendly and amazingly helpful owner was there waiting for us as he'd promised. We stayed in a double room with private bathroom, which exceeded expectations - especially for the price! The bedroom was spacious and well-decorated, there is a large dressing / wardrobe area and a large,...

After some bad experiences with hostels in Lisbon we were happy to find this place. Rooms are well decorated and cosy - we could even see a bit of the Tejo from our small balcony. Our flight was 3 hours late and we arrived 2.30 am, so we were very thankful for the warm welcome. The public bathroom was nice...

i do not really write reviews (maybe one every couple years), but in this case i had to write to recommend it--the main reasons are extraordinary value and helpfulness of owners value: at price below 50 euro, happy@chiado really stands out--it is clean, very decent, great location (close to metro), and many amenities--restaurants, bars, stores, within just few meters helpfulness:...

Great apartment & for €49 per night excellent value. Stayed for 1 night. Good place to crash. Lift to 4th floor, helpful staff, good wifi and modern bathroom. V nice stay in the middle of town, but still quiet with windows/doors open. Bed/pillow could have been better.

Great location on tram lines etc - close to some great cafes, restaurants & bars! We had a great shower in a pretty big bathroom. The bed though was a disaster sadly. It seemed to be two camp beds pushed together. The decor - horse theme - was a bit ott...Good rates though & the lift is a bonus.

Thank jjaca
