I was booked at this hotel for a conference. The location is convenient but there's more wrong with this hotel than the convenience can overcome. First, on the first night, the room was so hot and the unit only generated heat. I was moved to another room - same problem. Eventually, I got to a 3rd room and that issue was solved. HOWEVER, the lighting in all the rooms was so inadequate as to make it impossible to read. In all 3 rooms, not all of the lights worked. Furthermore, the noise from the trains going overhead and on the adjoining street was incessant. If you want to get work done requiring a computer - prepare for inconsistent internet connectivity as well as inadequate and inconveniently placed electrical outlets. The television was as small as a traveling laptop and likewise only worked intermittently. Oh, it took more than 30 min to check in and more than 15 min to check out. The front desk staff, while friendly, were slow and apparently clueless. They spent a lot of money on the lobby ambiance, but failed to provide the amenities expected in a comfortable hotel. No way would I recommend this place.…
Stayed in the hotel for a conference. The hotel does have a gym, pool, meeting rooms, and off course it is literally next to the conference hotel. However for what you pay the rooms are ok. They do not provide an ironing device. You have to use a laundry service which takes at least 24h Also the room did not have coffee or tea making machine. Plus the room looked a bit as if needed more maintenance. The shower had some mold in it. Conclusion: if you do not mind spending some money and want a good hotel close to the conference center. You are ok. If you do not mind taking a taxi/Uber (which is cheap) everyday you can be in downtown and save some money.
I had a hard time to sleep. Hotel is under the bridge...very loud. The matress was quite hard. The room was super dark and there were simply not enough lamps. The breakfast was partly aweful. The cereals tasted like they were sitting there for 2 years. The price was suprisingly high and I would have expected something quite different. Maybe for business travel, but would never consider for private trips.
I enjoyed everything in this hotel my room was clean and comfortable with a good view (the bridge ) I enjoyed quite sleep and calm nights after noise in the center the breakfast was delicious and very nice opera show experience was amazing
Starting from the name of the hotel to the location and the wonderful view of lisbon bridge, I can say that it is a very prestigious 4 stars hotel with great location, with large clean and comfortable rooms, breakfast is very good and frech. Staff are always around and parking is enough for everyone.
