Teatro B&B was a surprise.. I was looking for a nice hotel in Lisbon and I didn't even remember where I found it.. I booked it but I wasn't sure about it. When the taxi driver pulled me off I couldn't see at first the entrance.. but, after the check in with a very sweet and prepared lady I got...

Apartment was nice and cozy. Nice space for 2bedrooms and living room. Location was good, best to Uber locally (very cheap). Steep streets. Apartment does not have its own parking which is. Dry unfortunate because parking is nearly impossible and the hills are steep. Apartment was second floor (36 steps) so a little hard to maneuver with baby and stroller...

The place is well maintained and well connected. Care taker was really nice and provided us with very valuable inputs on where to go and how to go. Over all place offers a lot more then the price. I would really recommend this place.

Friendly and efficient service, very clean, very good breakfast, nice room decoration. Basically no lobby. Situated in the Alto neighborhood which means it is not adequate if you have difficulty walking. Close to bars, restaurants and some tourist attractions.

We stayed in November and were lucky to have really warm sunny weather. The hotel is in a really good location and its easy to get to trams and the metro from there. We had a superior room which was very comfortable and had lots of storage. I was a little concerned about the fact that the shower and toilet...

The apartment was beautiful and fully-equipped, close to the center of Lisbon with a lovely balcony. Helio was the most helpful person we have ever met, he gave us information about the city and the parking availability around the neighborhood. And he topped it when he helped my boyfriend to surprise me with a cake and a champagne he both...

Lovely, cool and funky city B&B in a perfect location within walking distance of all the best places to visit in Lisbon (in my view). Friendly knowledgeable staff and Individual and quirky rooms which may be a little masculine (black, silver, chrome and lots of mirrors). A treat to visit but just a little too noisy/raucous outside on the streets...

Wonderful little hotel in a charming area. Clean, modern, fun decor- we stayed in room 24. The small elevator was interesting with the old fashioned gates. Location was perfect, close to transportation, restaurants, cafes, museums, shopping. Walkable area, although, some hills, but no problem if you can walk. The hotel staff was more than accommodating - very friendly, efficient and...

Staying in Chiado & Carmo

Neighbourhood Profile
Chiado & Carmo
The traditionally trendy "Chiado" (literally, "squeak", the nickname of a 16th century poet) offers plenty of cafes, restaurants and bars where you can stop for a cafe or cocktail, after exploring its streets, shops, art galleries, theaters, museums and viewpoints. It's also the home to the statue of the famous statue of portuguese poet Fernando Pessoa, having is usual espresso at "A Brasileira" as he used to. You can also enjoy breathtaking views of Lisbon from the Elevador de Santa Justa or the Carmo Convent, for example. A commercial neighborhood at its core, especially for its Garrett and Carmo streets, Chiado is to this day a mandatory visit in Lisbon.
