I stayed here during a schooltrip. The rooms were very, very small. Also I believe the beds can be a little better. The bathroom is also very small, and you don't have any privacy there. The doors of the toilets do not cover the whole cabin, and you do not have any dressing room for the showers. We stayed in...

I had a great experience at Passport Lisbon Hostel. Beautiful decorated hostel just right in the centre of Barrio Alto. Nice and clean bathroom and room but a bit too noisy (coming from outside) especially in the weekend.

Very good location; neer subway, restaurants, pubs and main attractions. Rooms are nice designed, but staff is not nice. Room wasn't cleaned, common bathroom was dirty and smelled bad. Breakfest was terrible, coffee from machine, juice that doesn't look and taste like juice and bad quality ham. One day there wasn't even bread.

We stayed for 3 nights in the 8 bed dorm. It was clean and free breakfast was a bonus. It could get a little noisy outside but that's the price you pay for the location (which was amazing)! I would recommend for friends or solo travellers with just a few days in the city.

The room was nicely decorated and it looked unique. The bed was comfy and air-conditioning was working fine. Wifi worked also. However, it was a surprise that the bathroom had no door. So you have to shower and go to the toilet without privacy. There was a nice fridge and microwave, but no plates or mugs. Just two wineglasses. One...

pros - excellent, excellent location - near the metro, *on* the barrio alto - lower bunks had thick curtains, which were rly good for privacy cons - staff were mostly v rude and unwelcoming, save for one or two who were very nice (unfortunately did not get their names) - staff did not seem very organised. barged into room noisily...

During our stay at Passport Hostel in May, 2016, 120 € were stolen from our room while we had been upstairs for breakfast! As a friend and I shared a double bed, we left our valuables and money in our room while taking a shower or having breakfast. Unfortunately, during that time, somebody entered our room and stole 120 €...

Great value for the money, especially in the Bairro Alto area. This is an exceptionally well designed place, and if it wasn't for the typical hostel conditions (old building, basic reception, shared bathrooms), you wouldn't tell the difference between your room and a regular $150 night hotel. Quiet noisy at night, but this is a crowded are, especially during the...

Be cautious! Cash and other valuable belongings disappeared from our locked room while having breakfast. All the receptionist could say was sorry, though the only who had access to the room was the staff. They acted like nothing have happened. Awful smell from the bathroom spreaded the whole suite even with open windows.

Excellent location in the heart of lisbon, 5 minute walk to shopping centre with restaurants and shops. Only flaw was that we were told check in at 2 and we had to wait an hour for the room to be ready. It is cheap and quirky looking. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly. I think it's a very nice...
