We stayed in Lisbon, for four days and used this hotel, It is excellent value for money, Rooms excellent, cleaning, excellent and breakfast, so on. The hotel is situated very close to nightlife, but far away to not cause any noise issues. We had a room at the rear, which was very quiet. Loved this place, very querky

This beautiful well maintained modern facility is a jewel tucked neatly away in the ritzy tree lined section of the Marques de Pombal area. Though surrounded by large 5-star hotel conglomerates, Castilho House has no competition when it comes to hospitality, service, cleanliness, and charm. The location is superb (subway, bus, Grayline Tours meeting point, Hop On-Hop Off meeting point). Well Done Castilho...

My dilemma was whether to rate this as five stars, or as two. I could have just gone for an average of the two, but as that didn't correctly represent either (!) I've left it as five, which is how it would have been were it not for the building work taking place a few metres from our bedroom (starting...

Our first time in Lisbon Portugal, we chose the perfect place to stay. Fantastic location close to all shops and sight seeing tours. We come for a friends wedding so spent time trying to find the cheapest ways to get around, the receptionist couldn't have been more helpful going out her way to make sure we knew all routes and...

I stayed here for 1 week, the room was spotless. The location of the accommodation was excellent and the staff were very helpful. There was a plentiful choice for breakfast which was included in the price. The only let down was the noise from the constant building work that was going on all over Lisbon.

The location is good, close to the touristic attractions, but very quiet. The room was excellent, same the bathroom. The breakfast fas good as well. The reception is not be open the 24 hours, thus make sure that there is someone when you want to check in. I loved it :)

Before coming to this hotel I was a bit apprehensive as I read some of the reviews that complained about the uniqueness of it's location: the 5th floor of an office building. Luckily, my husband and I were pleasantly surprised by this hotel! With only 8 rooms it's quiet, compact, and clean. It occupies the 5th floor of an office...

What a pleasant surprise! In spite of the construction going on around the area, this hotel was very sound proofed. Most of all, it was spotlessly clean, updated, very good location, friendly staff, and different great breakfast every morning. Also 8-10 english speaking TV channels! Close to the Mercado, metro, train, buses. We would love to go back!
