We stayed here for a long weekend in October and could not recommend this highly enough! The apartment is in a great location and is very central making lots of the sights and restaurants easily accessible. Our room was spacious, light and very clean and had great views of Lisbon including the castle. We opted for a room with a...

We found it easily from the metro station but wouldn't suggest going by car. It was great to stay in the traditional part of town and have everything within a five to ten minute walk. We did not need to use transport once we were there as could walk every where we wanted to go. We loved the apartment, once...

Horrible to find. Taxi driver had to ask 4 people, including the police, where the location was. Then when we got there, no signage. A guy on the 4th floor hollered down and said we were at the right place. Stairs (straight up and dangerous) to the 4th floor. We couldn't even get our luggage up, if we wanted to....

The guest house is situated in the heart of Lisabon and it is really Rooftops!! The view from the terrace is incredible as well as the breakfast on the terrace. The staff/owner was perfect. You can pay only cash. Wifi works well. According to me it should be 1st choice for the couple in love (however I've been there with...

I spent one night at Lisbon Rooftops. The room was spotless and comfortable. Views pretty and location good. However above all I think the service is what would take me back. The owner, Luis, was friendly and accomodating - welcoming me several hours before standard checkin time, providing a room quickly and being flexible about a slightly late check out...

What a funky place! We love staying in places that have cultural atmosphere. We definitely shy away from 'cookie cutter' hotels, as we want to be immersed in the destination we are visiting. 'Rooftops GH', is such a place. Up on the fourth floor of an old building, it's not for the feint of heart. But then, nor is Lisbon....

Stayed here for 5 nights and loved the experience. Don't be put off by outside as once in you are in you will have a querky, welcoming and fun experience. Self service breakfast means you have it when you like and it's fresh. Views are incredible but you need to be able to climb steep stairs to guesthouse. Host always...

Loved staying here for a long city break in Lisbon. In walking distance of the main centre and the views really are stunning. Luis was a brilliant host, always happy to chat and give directions to the best things to see. Breakfast on the balcony every day was lovely and watching the sunset out there was amazing. The whole place...

My Partner and I stayed in "Suite Lisboa" for 7 nights and throughly enjoyed every minute! The private terrace, the en suite bathroom and the bedroom itself were all phenomenal. The price is very reasonable for the facilities! Our bed was a little firm for us but I understand this is normal in Portugal! There was plenty of space for...

“We had the downstairs room which has a great view and is adjacent to the terrace and breakfast room used by other guests. This was not a problem for us as the other guests there were very respectful, but an upstairs room might provide more privacy and quiet.”
