Hotel was nice and modern. Staff was helpful. Sangria was delicious - try the Sangria at the hotel bar.
Our room overlooked Praca de Figuera which was a nice view with a little balcony, but this meant sometimes at night you could hear noise from...More
In almost every way that matters this is a lovely hotel. It's in a great location, near to sights, restaurants and shops, the rooms are comfortable, clean and well appointed, with free secure wifi, a safe, AC, a nice bathroom and a mini bar equipped...More
The entrance to the hotel is dark and dingy (trying to emulate a cave, I think). Check in took long. The corridors are dark (trying to be funky, I think). The room was dark, with inadequate lighting. The bathroom was fitted adequately, but with very...More
The location of this hotel was excellent - walking distance to hundreds of restaurants and shops and to the major tourist attractions. The hotel design was trendy and eclectic with huge fig leaves on the wall, steel designs in the lobby and restaurant. Great food...More

A pending candidate to become a World Heritage Site, Lisbon's downtown (the "Baixa Pombalina", or simply "Baixa") is a perfect example of anti-earthquake construction, having been rebuilt following the 1755 earthquake by the famous Marquês de Pombal (hence its name). Its offer is vast: restaurants and cafes in Rossio and Restauradores, outlets and shops in the Áurea, Augusta, Prata and other famous streets, the
imponent Praça do Comércio and its Arch, the luxury shops along the Avenida da Liberdade, this is the beating heart of the city center. The Baixa also grants easy access to trains leading to Sintra, the trams that go around the Castle hill, old neighborhoods or even take you to Belém, and Lisbon's traditional restaurants and cafes. Considering a visit to the Fashion and Design Museum (free entrance) and don't forget to try the famous liquor, "ginjinha"!

Don't know the stop number, but it's the end of the line where the trams turn round, right outside the hotel. Also, the underground train station is 2 mins walk away, lots within 5 and 15 mins easy walk. Hope this helps
