Lovely Hotel, room, staff (Manu) were perfect; Shower, air con, bedding, balcony, WiFi, fridge. Also a fully functioning kitchen available to use. As well as a roof top balcony with table and chairs. Well worth a stay.

When I complained on booking.com about the way the night staff treated us (he yelled to my disabled mom, acted super aggressive and left us afraid of sleeping at night saying that if we had a complaint, we should wait for the owner to arrive the next day), the night staff replied my comment super aggressively saying I was lying and he started to make up stuff that we didn’t do (he even lied saying we asked for free breakfast, when in reality, when we arrived early in the morning we asked the lovely morning staff lady for places to have breakfast during the week, obviously he didn’t know that and that’s why he though he was able to lie… WRONG!). -Then when checked in, we didn’t know we wrongly booked a double room instead of a twin room and when I asked the night staff if the room wasn’t the wrong one, he replied confronting me and saying that “maybe I didn’t know how to book a room”, and that “he worked there and did know how to do his job”. -Then there was a roaring noise inside our room at night (which is next to the reception - DO NOT BOOK THAT ONE, YOU HEAR EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENS OUTSIDE YOUR ROOM) and he started saying “what noise, I don’t hear anything, if you need something wait for the owner tomorrow. I mean, obviously nobody would complain form a noise that doesn’t exist. We were tired form visiting lovely Lisbon all day, so we decided to secure the door with a chair (It didn’t close properly) and rest. I will never recommend this place because obviously the owner is not aware of the way his employee threatens people on site and online and that he obviously shouldn’t be working on the hospitality industry.

My partner and I stayed here for 4 nights. We arrived late the first night but staff were extremely helpful and check in was quick and easy. As it was a surprise trip for my birthday, they had kindly sorted us a little surprise in the room which was very much appreciated. The room was spacious and very clean. Air con worked perfectly and bed was comfy. Bathroom was clean also and shower worked well. I cannot emphasise how lovely the staff were and were always on hand to help us out wherever we needed to go. Location was good and we managed to get around most of the time on foot. Staff will help out if wanting to use the metro or trains to Sintra/Cascais. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Super clean. Helpful and friendly staff. Have access to a kitchen if you want to heat up leftovers or get something to cook from a nearby market one night. They sell decent bottles of wine as low as 3,50. Location is great. When coming back after an excursion it really felt like you were going home.

We stayed in the Alcantara (Family room) at Casa Belmonte for 4 days last week. The room wasn't large but it was spotless. The beds were comfortable and the linens were nice. The bathroom was very clean and the shower was great with plenty of hot water. The views from the rooftop terrace are amazing. The neighbourhood is safe and the hotel is close to Marques de Pombel. We walked downtown most days from the hotel. One day we took the nearby metro to the Santa Apolonia train station and the Aerobus makes a stop at Marques de Pombel. Very convenient. If you are sensitive to noise, it can be a bit noisy at night due to the street outside but we were so tired at night that it didn't matter. I would stay there again if we return to Lisbon. It's clean, in a good location and well priced.

Unfortunately there is no laundry service available for guests (we had same problem). Actually we were able to handle this by ourselves, but I'm sure that you will find a helpful information at reception. People working in this hotel are really so nice!
