A very clean hotel with lovely staff who were friendly and very helpful. Perfect position with only a short walk to the river and metro. Trams stop a few metres away and lots of choice for eating places from the moment you step out of the door. Very close to the escalators and lifts that take you up the hills on either side of the centre.

Bedrooms are comfortable, spacious and have good soundproofing. Everything feels very secure and we will be using them again. Our return flight was cancelled last minute and the hotel quickly arranged a room for us and moved our luggage into the new room as our existing was booked out.

Easy to get to from the airport. Catch the red line metro, one short change onto the green line at Alameda and get off at Baixa-Chiado metro. All easy to do, lifts and escalators available. Clean and safe, takes about 20 minutes and costs just over £1

The hotel is centrally located and perfect for walking to all major sites nearby.

The staff are really friendly and they offered lots of tips on how to make the most of all the best attractions.

The room had everything we needed for a city break; a comfy bed, decent shower and facilities.

The only negative at all would be that it wasn't the cleanest. It wasn't overly dirty but there were a few patches and the hairdryer was quite dusty etc.

Overall though it's great value for money and we would recommend.

This is a great little boutique hotel which is superbly located less than 2 minutes to the major tourist hot spots and the famous landmark of Praça do Comércio which is a great place to people “watch” and catch the sunset over a cold beer or sangria.

I really appreciated the help which Ms. Claudia Selva offered, above and beyond what I expected - so thank you.

I will be back in a few days after a short break to porto and look forward to my stay.

Thank you

Paul from Hong Kong

Pretty room with lots of space and big windows. Location is great for getting to all parts of the city.
Major roadworks out in the road so taxis can't drop to the door. We used the Metro and walked so not a big problem.
Room rate includes breakfast that you have to preorder and it isn't very high quality.
Didn't like the coffee and the pastries are tiny cheap ones. Which when you consider how the city is full of wonderful pastry and desert shops this is a real shame. It would be better not to have breakfast included as it is disappointing.
No tea or coffee in the room. No conditioner for hair only shampoo. We asked not to have the room made up but they did anyway.
Terrible small TV high up on the wall.
Quiet due to big shutters but outside the street is noisy.

This old central city is perfect location for a tourist visit - close to trams (1 blk), subway (3 blks) and buses (2 blocks). Lovely very very old building with 100%modern fittings, bathrooms and electrics. Shutters to keep out really string morning sun; and our bathroom was huge.

Great location, helpful front desk. We needed an early cab ride to the airport, they arranged it for us. They serve breakfast for an added charge that seemed a little steep, so we didn't eat there. You may hear people in the streets later in the evening, but it wasn't bad. The rooms are small as you would expect, but I am sure most hotel rooms are like this in Lisbon or any other older big city. Beds were comfortable. Place was clean and they do have a lift.

As a solo traveller, I spent quite some time trying to choose the right hotel for my short stay in Lisbon. This hotel was definitely a great find! Modern, clean, comfortable and a fantastic location, right in the heart of Lisbon! Great choice of restaurants, cafes nearby!
Check-in was very smooth, staff were super friendly! Room was clean and modern, but I was unfortunately looking out over the back street, where some noisy building work was happening. Staff also allowed me to leave my suitcase with them when I checked out, leaving me free to explore more of the city without my case.
Despite all of this, I still expected more! Maybe it was because I was there for such a short time, but nothing particularly wowed me about this hotel and I wasn't blown away by it, especially considering the price!

Liked · Kind personnel. Cosy small hotel. The original old window shutters kept the sun and heat outside. The location is super. Even the roadworks on the Prata did not disturb, they started work when we woke up, not because of them though.

Disliked · How are you supposed to charge your phones? There was only one socket in the room. No breakfast buffet, you need to place an order in the evening before with only a few choises. Lots of choices were chargeable. Two small bread buns (dry ones), only one glass of juice/person is included?! I do not like the paper mug in the bathroom. It only works for one night, but not more! One day the other towel was gone, the other day the bathroom carpet?

This hotel is in a perfect location for touring Lisbon. Trams and buses are nearby. The nearest metro is Baixa-Chaido, about a 5-10 minute walk. This metro includes escalators that will whisk you up to the upper parts of Lisbon. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The elevator is quite small and creaky. My room was large, with a mini-fridge, desk, and large bathroom. There are plenty of dining options nearby. I stayed for 5 nights and the breakfast got repetitive. If I were to go back I would probably get breakfast in one of the nearby cafes that have better selections (and amazing pastries!).

Overall, the location of this hotel is great. However, the room was extremely dusty and our air con unit was leaking a lot. We explained to the receptionist that the air con unit was pouring water out and were told this was normal. We had to have a towel underneath it but it still kept us awake at night.

Other than that, staff were friendly and it was a good hotel for a couple of nights stay.

Hello Yes to both questions. 1) There is an area in reception where luggage was stored. There is always someone on duty in reception so I would consider the luggage to be safe there. 2) The hotel will organise transportation to the airport if you wish and for whatever time you would require. We personally were picked up at 6am and the taxi driver was there just ahead of time. We hope you have a wonderful holiday.

If you have the documentation for your holiday, the telephone number should be on then or put the full details in on google and hopefully the telephone will come up....that is all I can suggest.

Hi, we'll use a rent-a-car. Is the hotel provided with the free parking?
Answer from LPBHotel
Lisbon, Portugal
Dear Guest, Unfortunately none of the hotels in the Downtown area are provided with parking (free or paid), because of the rebuilt of the city after the 1755 Earthquake. There are many public (paid) parking lots in walking distance. A word of a advice: Lisbon is well known for its narrow streets, so circulating and parking can be time consuming. You can easily reach any point of the city with public transports. Kind Regards, Rui Miranda
