Hotel is situated in a quiet side street which looks a bit dreary, but do not be put off by this as it is a really quiet area and only two minutes from Avenida metro station. The hotel is halfway up a steep hill so not suitable for everyone. The room was very clean with a large bathroom and a...

Honestly, when I booked this hotel I was expecting nothing more than a bed and a shower. However on top of that we received a very very warm service from every member of the hotel staff, very authentic room with a massive bathroom, perfect cleanness and in general excellent experience. The location is just perfect and very central. No complains...

Very small room, but very clean, The size of bathroom is bigger than the room itself. Very convinient location - very close to the center, locating on quite street. we were in april - it was around +14 outside and no convectors in the room. very cold :( but anyway costs its money.

Stayed here for two nights during my Lisbon visit. It is a family run hotel and I would say that it is the best part of this hotel. The staff (particularly the two ladies who were taking care of the hotel at most times) were very friendly and very helpful. I stayed in a single room with attached toilet and...

This is an archetypal residencia and it helps if you are thinking of staying here you know what that means. It is safe (24hr manned front desk), clean and located close to the city centre and transport. It is family run and they take pleasure in you enjoying your stay and do all they can to make that happen. All...

Everytime when i/we went to Lisboa (we live in the Alentejo), i/we stay in this little residencia (2-3 times/year since 5 years now!). The same family has run this Residencia for many years. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Although an old building, everything is perfectly clean, and staff take great pride in keeping it so. Nova Avenida is a...

I went two days a resiidencial Nova Avenue that is very well positioned in the upper quarter of Lisbon and in my opinion the cleanliness was excellent, friendly service and best location and price. A small but is its website, as it conveys a poor image of the board staff. in my opinion should change urgently and that caused me...

We recently stayed for two weeks at Residencia Nova Avenida (April 2012). It’s in a lovely old (preserved) building, located in a narrow street in a typical -and safe- part of the old city, all reflecting the charm that is Lisbon. None of its 27 rooms is the same; many are en suite, and all have TV and free WiFi....

Situated between the Bairro Alto and Baixa it is a short walk through narrow streets down to the shops of Chiado or a coffee at Café Nicola or Café Suiça at Rossio, compensating that Dona Dina does not offer breakfast at her place. City tourers live in harmony with the residencial area at reasonable rates. Building and rooms reflect the...
