This is a special, enchanting home. Our room faced the valley and the view was a feast of lush beauty. We were on the third floor which was a climb with luggage; however help is available if you need it. Our bedroom and bathroom were large and pleasantly decorated; the bed comfortable and the bathroom well equipped. We had our... More

We had a peaceful stay at Casa Miradouro. The hostess who greeted us was friendly and gracious. Our room was spacious and had a balcony with a wonderful countryside view. The bathroom was adequate and clean. The things to know about staying here is that it is located on the periphery of Sintra. The plus to this is that it... More

Overall a nice place to stay - but be aware it is a bit of a walk into the main areas where restaurants etc. are. Either way it is a walk up & then down hill (or vice versa) depending on if going to old town or new town. We stayed 2 nights and the 1st night our room was... More

We spent 2 days here and loved it. We were welcomed with a sherry by a very friendly staff member, who was friendly and helpful the whole time we were there.. We walked up 2 flights of stairs to a large room with a balcony. Great views of other Sintra attractions from the balcony. The inn is on a corner... More

I found it really hard to find somewhere to stay in Sintra, so ended up booking this place based largely on the recommendation of Alistair Sawday. It's the most disappointing Alistair Sawday place I've stayed in, but it's okay for a night or two at a push. It's cold firstly, which I think is a basic thing for a hotelier... More

Bit worn but beautiful and rustic home. Loved the spacious suite room and it's views. If you are an avid hiker, it's day hiking distance from the mountain castle and walls. Enjoyed my solitude but same time home-like feeling there. I liked it bit less picture perfect and more authentic. :)

Stayed here one night last week in february and loved it! Stylish well kept Guesthouse in a old building! had a big room on the second floor facing the castle! Fantastic breakfast! Two nice living rooms on the first floor where you can enjoy a drink, playing chess or just sit and talk! Special thanks to the young lady that... More

We stay 2 nights in Sintra, the bedroom was very big and clean. Dona, was very friendly and efficient. Breakfast was perfect too. The wiev was perfect, with the Castle de los Moros on the top!! And the rest of the great Palaces. Maybe the situation was complicated, but we have a car , and the drive experience by the... More

Beautiful older house, spacious room, near access to transportation for visiting the hilltop castles. Excellent breakfast with prompt service. No elevators, so be prepared. Quick taxi ride to Lisbon airport. Lovely grounds with views. We'd stay here again.
