What a delight. We stayed for 3 nights in April, 2011 along with another couple. Both rooms were comfortable, clean and spacious in a wonderfully renovated and charming home. The breakfasts were wonderful and the staff couldn't be nicer or more helpful. Recommended restaurants and sites were all exactly what we had hoped for. Sitting outside in the yard or...

We really loved staying at Casa Miradouro. The owners were friendly and helpful, to the extent that they figured out our whole Sintra-area itinerary (on request) and didn't steer us wrong on any count. We adored our room, and the staff was wonderful. We really can't say enough good things about this place. Very charming public spaces, a perfect room...

It's difficult to leave this place. Sintra itself is charming, but the friendly Belgian owner, the very comfortable room and the yummy breakfast make this the ideal spot for a couple of days. And if you like good food, don't hesitate to ask Charlotte where you should go; she can even give you tips for great meals elsewhere in Portugal!

Located down a short street from the town center, this place is keenly situated commanding both mountain (Pena Palace) and valley vistas with an occasional glimpse of the sea! Charlotte is a very gracious hostess, warm and helpful making you feel very at home. The gardens have a beautiful terrace to enjoy a leisurely lunch or siesta in the sun....

We stayed for one night at the top floor. The room was clean and tidy. Owner of the house, Charlotte was so helpful with everything and made us feel at home with her smile. Breakfast was delicious. We had a door-knob problem at the beginning, but it was fixed in a short time. The steep from the hotel to the...

My wife and I stayed at the Casa Miradouro for 2 nights. We cannot say enough about the wonderful hospitality of the owners. We arrived early in the day and were offered tea and cookies, which we were also served the next afternoon. Breakfast was included and was plentiful, including eggs. The hotel does require either strong walking legs or...

We loved the greeting by our hostess, Charlotte. She had maps and showed us all the places to go and best restaurants and tips. Rooms are just as in the pictures. Everything is well kept and rooms are airy. The walk to the central plaza is uphill but not bad. We were glad we had a car and could come...
