Pena palace and quinta da regaliera are both within walking distance but there is quite a lot of up hill walking involved. There is a public bus stop just outside the hotel which stops at all the main sites however I would recommend if you want a seat on the bus that you take the short walk to the train station and board it there as if the bus is too full it simply will not stop at the bus stop and it can fill up pretty quickly. Enjoy your trip!
