The hotel is conveniently located: the ocean promenade, shops, cafés, restaurants and pubs close-by. The room was quite clean and regularly cleaned; the A/C in the room practically noiseless. It's good of them to have invested into the double glazing since the rooms give onto a street with busy traffic, where cars and buses have to accelerate right in front...

The room was large with nice Balcony and useful kitchen area. Always cleaned efficiently, plenty of towels. Very convenient for restaurants, the sea and walking. It was a bit noisy when sitting on the Balcony but it didn't stop us! Nice roof terrace area with tiny but warm pool and good views.

Just returned home after staying here for 11 days. The room we had was adequate, nice and clean, maid came in every day and clean towels every day. Breakfast was buffet style, it was ok, the usual juice, cereal, cheese, ham etc, every day was scrambled egg, although there was a notice saying you could have fried egg if requested,...

Built in 1996 and hardly maintenance since then. Hence despite giving huge studios (separate bedroom and sitting room/kitchen) and excellent staff service there are still lots of irritations, all more or less compensated by the low price. To name a few: nineties-area TV, hairdryer of same age with hardly capacity, AC which is excellent for the sitting room but leaves...

Nice hotel in good location, close to bus stop and restaurants. Room was quite average but what made this place special was very helpful staff and swimming pool on the roof. Little problematic was to find the parking place.

For this visit to Madeira we chose this hotel as it's central to Lido area and Funchal centre meaning you can take a stroll, bus ride or taxi. If you take a taxi anywhere always ask the price first as journeys aren't always on the meter so the driver is free to charge anything he likes. Funchal centre to the...

A good aparthotel, well located in Lido, near to every big hotels, promenade, restaurants, and casino. The rooms do the trick and all of them have a balcony, wich is great. On the roof top there is a heated pool and a jacuzzi for free use, The wi-fi signal was always good.

We found this hotel had a good location, close to different restaurants and a 15min walk to Funchal. Also the Bus from the airport does stop very close by and it's an easy walk to the hotel. The breakfast buffet was okay with a good range of different food. Good value for money overall. The water temperature of the Spa...

This is a good aparthotel, well situated within reach of down-town Funchal. Price was very reasonable and we enjoyed the breakfast. OK it's not a plush, top of the range hotel but they did the basics very well, with helpful friendly service, rooms were cleaned every day, shower worked well, free speedy wifi - no need to give masses of...

We spent the Christmas 2013 here. Could not have asked for a better place. Our family of 5 with my inlaws had 2 rooms next to each other. We originally had booked 3 rooms as we were told that our group would need 3 rooms. At arrival we were offered a family room and another room for 2 persons. No...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Totally renovated in December 2016. Concept Terrace Mar result of a thorough renovation, with a light, fresh and timeless concept. The project of decoration and design adds to the previous hotel a more appealing area of the solarium and Jacuzzi, giving the rooms and commons areas all the facilities and features to the current visitor. The generic blue sky of Madeira, together with elegant white wood furniture, are the predominant colours, giving our guests a sense of peace, well-being and harmony. Location Set in one of the best areas of Funchal, this small and friendly four stars aparthotel is located 500 meters away from the sea and the Lido promenade and bathing complex and about 20 minutes walk from the city centre. The Hotel is nearby supermarkets, bars, restaurants, shops, banks and bus stations. Accommodation With a modern, nice and functional decoration, the hotel has 43 spacious junior suites and suites, all with balcony and complete kitchenettes. All the rooms also have air conditioning, flat screen TV with cable TV connection, Wi-Fi, seating and dining area with sofa, table and chairs, private bathroom with hair dryer, walk-in shower as well as a furnished balcony with double glazed windows and doors.
