This hotel is situated between the centre of Funchal and the hotel zone. It only takes 10mins to walk into Funchal. You are situated 2-3mins walk from the Marina and some very good resturants that are recommended in all the guide books. The only negative thing is the pool is extremely cold - but they do state it is not...

Cleanliness excellent. Room was plain and uninspiring....Linen counterpane was missing on our arrival and for first 2 days and we were confronted by a brown wooly blanket. Swimming Pool, sun lounge area and...

Location is good for being close to Funchal centre as is very close to the harbour for catching the ferry to Porto Santo. Steep paths and roads around so you need to be physically able. Good clean modern little hotel, minimalistic in design with a small outdoor pool which was rarely used whilst there. Rooms have good balcony with furniture...

If you would prefer not to stay in one of Funchal's many big hotels, and don't need all the facilities, this place is worth a look. It was built in 2006 and has just 18 rooms, all with balconies. It is just behind the huge Pestana Casino hotel, which means it is an easy walk to the city centre and...
