We stayed two nights as part of our Camino and this was the highlight of our trip. Not only are the grounds and the buildings fit for royalty, the friendly owners really made it so special for us. The rooms are large and beautifully decorated.

Stayed here for a week in the middle of September, so that we could explore Northern Portugal. Simply amazing. Kate and Piers could not have been more helpful. Information about the area and the attractions were freely given. The gardens and pool area are great....More

Piers and Kate are great hosts. Very helpful with our trip to the Douro Valley and dinners out at local resturants.The breakfast was wonderful, the grounds are wonderful, the entire place had a wonderful feel to it.
