We were walking the Portuguese Camino and stayed here for two nights. The rooms were clean. The shower was excellent and the bed comfortable. The staff were friendly. We had a good meal in the adjoining restaurant. Good value for money.

Just around the corner from the Bom Jesus church which is in the centre of Barcelos and handy to lots of restaurants and bars. The room was basic but fine all the amenities were there and it was clean and comfortable. We ate in the cosy hotel restaurant and there was a good menu with lots of local dishes which...

Especially if you're there on market day (THU) - excellent place to stay - you just at the entrance to the market and it worse it. The restaurant is very good as well as service. Try goat ribs or other thing prepared from this delicious meat. As well as different ways of cooked bacalau fish. The reception stuff not very...

This three star rated hotel is unpretentious but delivers good and friendly service, clean rooms and a good breakfast. This is what one would expect for the price and star rating. Unfortunately there was no English print media available in the lobby to direct one to he attractions of the city. Either the clientele are predominantly Portuguese speaking or there...

This is a pleasant place to stay if you're looking for a comfortable central hotel and aren't too fussed about local atmosphere. The location is ideal and only about a block from the Caminho route. Our check-in and out were fast and efficient but without a smile. Our room was comfortable and functional. The hotel restaurant offers good Portuguese cuisine...

For a modern commercial type of hotel this proved to be very good in all respects. The hotel is located close to the main park and the older part of town. Everything is within walking distance. The rooms are clean and very adequate. We didn't have any trouble with noise levels despite facing the square at the front. Breakfast was...

I recently spent 2 nights here with friends while walking on the Camino. We were delighted to take a rest day here to go visit Bom Jesus in Braga (well worth a visit) and to enjoy Barcelos. The hotel was very comfortable, nice rooms and a wonderful rooftop terrace bar where breakfast is also served. The staff were great and...

Good location in town but this hotel needs renovations badly. Old beds and pillows did not make for a good sleep. It was clean and basic. Others we knew stayed at newer accommodation that was superior so it may pay to look around before booking this hotel. Staff were very nice. The attached restaurant was very good for dinner. We...

Very acceptable town centre hotel convenient for all sight seeing and travelling to other towns in the area. The hotel is modern, fairly large and therefore a little impersonal. Rooms are all very comfortable but those looking out to the rear only have limited views of the roofs of other buildings which are not too inspiring.A good restaurant with many...
