This hotel was a pleasure to stay in. Family run and full of old world charm but with modern facilities. We had a large room and the bed was very comfortable, the room was quiet too. Access is not all that easy from the outside . Pleasant staff

Charming, well-kept hotel in the very center of the old city
Enjoyed a lovely stay at this updated hotel in the very center of the old city. It's a bit hard to find, but once you get there, you'll like being close to the city's historic, beautiful, walkable center. Breakfast (cooked and continental) was very good, with attentive staff, though the options were a bit more limited than in many other European hotels (scrambled eggs were available, but not omelets). The room, including bathroom, was spacious and very clean.

Nice hotel located in the historic centre of the city. Not the easiest place to get to with a car but they had reserved spaces for hotel guests but looked like only a few still we had no problem. Breakfast was good, cereal, bread rolls and croissants really attentive and friendly staff. The rooms are huge and comfortable if a little dated, really comfortable memory foam beds. Our air conditioning started to make a loud noise during the night maybe because it had been on all day still it was so loud we had to turn it off to sleep. As we were leaving the next morning we didn't report this and it can happen wherever so it wasn't a big problem. If I found myself back in Guimaraes I would stay here again.

Well located in old town walking distance to most major sites; beautiful inside and out with a GREAT breakfast included (table served). Friendly good service from all the staff. Great price, comfortable clean room.

Hi, Is it easy to park our rental car in the neighbourhood of the hotel? Or should I prepare for a difficult search? :)
You can drive right up to the hotel and they will sort you out with where to park for the time you’re staying! The staff are fabulous!
