Very nice hotel, great location
A great hotel for a reasonable price! Located in the city center next to a lot of bars and restaurants, at a walking distance from the Castle of Guimarães. Staff are very friendly and always willing to help, caipirinhas of the hotel bar are one of the best in town. Rooms are very large, bathrooms as well. Breakfast is also delicious. Great experience highly recommended!

Location a Plus (and Minus with car)
We drove. But there is no drive-up here; actually we parked 2-3 blocks away in a restricted area because there was no available parking anywhere and we kept driving around. Fortunately the manager had one of the staff help us to move our car to a special area nearby for parking. So I reduced my rating down 2, offset by 1 because they helped us recover. Great location and room. Be sure to ask for parking instructions if you drive!

Great location
This is a lovely hotel, very well situated. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Great breakfast and rooms spacious with comfortable beds. Definitely try the restaurant, good food and well priced. Close to main squares and shops.

My third visit
Galicia is such a difficult place to get to so when visiting my family near Arcade i break the journey back to Porto Airport in Guimaeres and the Hotel da Oliveria. I love this hotel, such a warm welcome, central position lovely rooms, huge breakfast. Parking isn’t the easiest to find until you are in the know. Very handy once you are. A lovely hotel.

spacious rooms, accommodating staff. a bit difficult to find at first as it is on the fringe of the historic center. within walking distance of everything. great restaurants all around. a find i;n this part of the country

Olá. Gostaria de saber que atividades posso fazer com 3 crianças de 7,10 e 17 anos durante a tarde de domingo dia 7 de Fevereiro . Conhecem atividades apropriadas para estas faixas etárias?

Do ponto de vista cultural poderá verificar os eventos neste website guicul O website guimaraesturismo faz um resumo das atrações da cidade. Poderá fazer uma visita histórico/cultural pelo centro histórico com uma ida obrigatória ao castelo e ao Paço dos Duques de Bragança. Poderá visitar os museus da cidade. Poderá subir à Montanha da Penha ou de carro ou de teleférico. Para os mais aventureiros, uma subida a pé é também aconselhável. A quando do check in, por norma, a nossa receção informa todos os locais a visitar. Ficamos ao inteiro dispor para qualquer esclarecimento que julgue necessário. Até dia 7!

"Room 105 had plenty of space and overlooked the main square. Can be a little noisy on Friday and Saturday nites."
