Total peace and comfort in this oasis that the hosts have created. Very well appointed rooms , in a way that makes you feel like a treasured friend .Delicious breakfast by the pool, looking out over the beautiful garden, with the sound of the bells ringing the hours from the nearby church.A touch of paradise. They also make delicious wine

A stone wall and town square are your entry into the past turned modern. Ana Maria, her husband and the ladies are nothing short of attentive, kind, knowledgeable and professional. Ana Maria is a wealth of information and she lovingly shows you to the most beautiful quaint rooms, cozy apartments and the grounds. We stayed our own apartment which was...

We were two couples on tour in Europe by car. This B&B with a nice selection of own wines had an attractive location for our lunch that day, lunch and winetasting was booked in advance. We arrived by the garden and were struck by the beauty of it. The host greeted us very friendly and offered us a tour of...

This was like being a guest in someone's home, rather than in an hotel or B&B. Unassuming from the outside, it sits on the side of a quite square opposite a small church, inside it is a beautiful, tastefully furnished family home. It sits in large grounds some of which are gardens but much is orchard. Some of the accommodation...

The common areas are also very well kept and nicely decorated. Internet access is free. Breakfast was very varied and well presented, including seasonal fresh fruits....

We feel in love with this Casa. Britiande (location): the Casa is located in a small town and a remote area. You absolutely need a car to get there and around. It is a perfect location for day trip around the Douro (and just a drive away from vineyards and restaurants). It is quiet (even if the main road is...

We stayed here for two nights. It's like visiting grandma's or a favorite aunt. The home is lovely. Nicely decorated, warm, spacious, very inviting. Just off the main road, but quiet. The grounds are very pretty too (even in Feb). We were offered tea and biscuits on arrival. Breakfast is very good and plentiful. The cook is very good. We...
