My girlfriend and I booked an en-suite private room for four nights here. Whilst the price was very low and the location is close to the centre of Porto, there are much newer, nicer places to stay in the city. Our room was tiny and the en-suite bathroom was crammed into a corner of the room. The bathroom stank and...

Stayed for one night and it was literally one of the worst nights of my life sleep wise. The prices are good and with that in mind you can't expect much, but Porto is growing a lot tourist wise and it has some up and coming excellent hostels for incredible prices. This isn't one of them... Very good location because...

Accommodation is worth its price (a valuable offer). We felt very safe there. It is located in city centre, next to the Mercado Bolhao (great for acquiring fresh fruits and vegetables) and Rua Santa Catarina (main pedestrian street). Room and bathroom was maintained clean.

Yes, it looks poor. Yes, the rooms are tiny. Yes, the fitting leaks and tho linoleum is layered twice over the wrong spot where you trip over the plumming that is diagonal over the floor (but under the linoleum). BUT !!!...it is very cheap, the staff is very, very, very friendly, the location is convenient and renting a bike (from...

This place is only for budget travellers! I stayed there first time 9 years ago and when I came back after such a long period unfortunately I can't tell that the service is the same! Cleaniness issues, dumpness and even older interiors. Just for people on a tight budget and you'll probably not enjoy it! Rethink.

We did not expect much and that is exactely what we got. The blankets triggerd my allergies and we needed those because inside the room it was colder than outside. Bathroom is not clean and toilet flushes like it is 1934. Location was good, nearby the metrostation. The people where helpfull though en provided us with maps and told us...

We booked the double room with private bathroom online and we regretted paying for the whole stay before seeing the room. The hostel is situated not far from metro station Bolhao, in quiet but ominous looking neighbourhood. The room we got was the worst one we ever stayed in - with dirty walks, floor, old furnitures. The wifi didn't get...
