I was hiking the Camino Portuguese starting in Porto and needed lodging for the night that I arrived from the States that was convenient, affordable, and comfortable. The Poets Inn excelled in fulfilling ALL of these needs. It is located exactly on the Camino, a short distance from the Porto Cathedral, and was kiddy-corner across the street from the last...

Very well remodeled and decorated, The Poets Inn is funky, fun, social (or private), friendly and accommodating. Our room had a balcony over looking the street and was clean and beautiful - I wanted to move in! The communal areas are off the main entrance so if you're tired you don't have to worry about walking through a party. Excellent...

I stayed at Poets Inn for 2 nights to see Porto. The staff were super friendly and helpful especially Rita who was just new. Rooms I stayed in were clean and beautifully decorated with lovely fresh linen. One bed was a bit too firm for Me but that could be fine for others. Central location within walking distance of all...

Located in the historic center you are able to walk to all the major attractions. Close to the Sao Bento train station. Quiet, quaint, and very clean. Large kitchen with all the ammenities. The staff was very apporachalbe, frinedly and helpful. The room was large for Euopean standards. I would definetly stay here again, and I would highly recommend to...

Stayed at the Poets Inn Porto Portugal as a single woman traveler, a stop over while walking the Portuguese Camino. Fabulous little boutique Inn a few minutes walk from the bus stop from the airport. I stayed in the Anais room had a fabulous drawing on my wall which I loved. (Drawings and words of wisdom on many of the...

My husband and I spent 4 nights here this past August. Our room was on the 3rd floor so I imagine not everyone would be happy climbing those stairs. It was pretty quiet but with the windows always open you often get people unintentionally slamming doors because of the wind. The room we stayed in was very quaint and inviting....

Booked two rooms one with private bathroom one with shared bathroom. Both rooms were coolly decorated and furnished. This with the great location makes it a fab place to stay in Porto. The facilities were great lovely patio where simple self service breakfast could be taken. Shared kitchen where you could prepare your own meals if required. Amazing place to...

Poets Inn was perfect for us! It's an upgraded hostel so it feels like a hotel with well-decorated rooms and breakfast included but with the cosy feel and amenities of a hostel (kitchen and dining area). It is super super clean! The staff are friendly, speak good English and are helpful. It's located close to the train station, many attractions...

staff is super friendly and forthcoming, we were 4 and were put in to an apartment nearby in the 3rd floor which was a few steps away, newly renovated and classy furnished. Great view over the roofs and the plaza. Location is central, may be a bit louder but hey, its a southern city and full of life.

Had a wonderful stay at the Poets Inn. The location was great, and the room and bathrooms are very clean. Breakfast was adequate. Only complaint was that sound traveled a lot in the building. We could hear doors opening and closing and people walking on the stairs both late at night and early in the morning. The seagulls were quite...
