Very comfortable, modern and sparkling clean hotel. Excellent location in the very center of Porto. Breakfast was above all expectations. Very helpful front desk staff and special thanks to Ricardo, who was extremely helpful when we had to get hold of airline’s customer service in the time of Coronavirus chaos and also helped us to get reimbursed for one night which we unfortunately had to cancel.
This is a beautiful hotel... The rooms are very spacious, the bed was magnificent, and they actually have a pillow menu. You can pick the kind of pillow you like best. The service and helpfulness of the staff was unsurpassed, beginning with check in all the way through checkout. They happily held our luggage before and after our stay, printed out boarding passes for us, provided complimentary drinks and other goodies. Breakfast, for an additional fee, was terrific... Abundant, varied, and well prepared. The only less than delightful element was the odd bathroom experience.. No door on the shower room meant you had to dry off in full view. Modesty be damned!
A group of friends used this hotel for a weekend break. I would consider each of them different but as clients they all had in common that they are demanding. All of them were happy with location, cleanliness, design and breakfast choices. I would recommend and consider again for a future stay.
We got an exceptionally clean, Nicely designed, roomy junior suite with lots of windows and great lighting. For some reason, however, our room had no provision for hanging coats or jackets, and likewise, the Bathroom had no provision for hanging your towels. We also noticed that there is No peephole on the door to check who is knocking, and that there is no access control in the elevator. That said, Breakfast was great, with a good selection of local cakes and pastries to accompany your coffee. It is in a Very central location, but the trade off is the main thoroughfare beside the hotel; good soundproofing means minimal noise from passing vehicles but those sensitive to this kind of thing should take note. Last but not the least, Each and every member of the staff was simply outstanding. …
Just back from a week staying in this hotel right in the heart of Porto. Excellent hotel in an excellent location and very near lots of tourist sites and not far from the riverside. Excellent buffet breakfast including wine if you wanted it. The hotel is spotless and very modern and clean, and the bedroom was a good size with an enormous bed you could have fitted a whole family into. My only criticism is the see through bathroom. Even when you’re with a partner he or she or you may want a tad more privacy than this setup offers. However, all in all a good hotel in a good location and if I come back to Porto I’m be happy to stay there again.
