Very good location, 10 min walking from Bolhao metro station. Steep and narrow stairs don't make it convenient to climb with a luggage. Both ladies at the reception desk were very nice and helpful. Room: we had a room at 2nd floor with a window and bathroom inside (literally). Bathroom was in the closet ( really, look at the pictures... More

Very central and nice house, but without elevator. If you come with heavy luggage you will have to carry it all the stairs up alone...The owner is very professional but not really friendly with small kids. For a family ist not so comfortable. We had a good time anyway.

I stayed here for couple of nights with one of my friends. It was a very good price for a really nice place to stay if you are a tourist. More than this the place is clean and cozy. I totally recomand it.

Gorgeous old house, sympathetically updated. Exceptional value for money with a decent, if repetitive breakfast. Seek out the little garden for some quiet time in the sun. A wee bit out of the town centre, but in a decent enough area with all amenities close by

Things that I liked: Everything was very clean, the wi-fi worked perfectly as well the television, the bathroom had hygiene products, the breakfast was good, and we paid 2 days after the arrival. The best part was the price, very economic! Things I didn't liked: The room was small, the bathroom door didn't close, the towels were not changed one... More

Pedra Antiga is no luxury hotel; the rooms are small and less than modern and the bathrooms seem rather improvised. Everything is however clean and comfortable and the staff is very helpful and kind. The self-service breakfast starts your day off nicely. Pedra Antiga is a good choice if you are looking for a place to sleep and nothing more.... More

Cute place to stay, feels like Europe, none of those big modern chains. The lady at the front desk was soooo friendly and nice. Made me feel like her daughter. The breakfast croissant was delicious. Cute terrace. Free WiFi. Near everything. Have stayed twice, and will continue to stay here. Bravo, Pedra Antiga!!

“We were on the top floor in the room with the nude lady painting, it faced the street but we were not kept awake at night, didnt see any of the other rooms, but equally wasnt woken up by other guests, the breakfast room was one floor down down but again no noise so perhaps top floor is the way to go?”
