Myself and my sister in law stayed here for 4 nights in August.
We had a lovely stay. We arrived earlier than check in time and our room was ready. It was lovely and clean, nice sized bathroom and room.
Reception staff were lovely. Most days they called in to check all was ok. The rooms were cleaned later in the day which was the only thing that wasn’t too ideal, one day was about 5pm, and we were back in the room from the day out so we declined. However, reception did ring us and ask again if we wanted it cleaned which was nice
The rooftop was ideal for the warm weather, the pool is very shallow so not quite deep enough to swim but lovely to cool off in and look at the great views from. You can also order from the downstairs bar with a QR code and the service was very quick. Was lovely to have a frozen cocktail whilst sitting in the sun.
The location was perfect, most places we wanted to go were only a 10-15 minutes walk which wasn’t bad.

We enjoyed three nights here. It was in a very good location , just a short walk to the funiculare lift which takes you down to the waterfront. The room in January was warm & comfortable . We booked direct with the hotel which was a good deal with included breakfast buffet which was v good. We liked the idea that for each day you choose not to have your room serviced you receive a free drinks voucher. We used ours to sample some excellent port served by an extremely pleasant barman.

The hotel is in a great location but definitely don’t go there during holidays we were there for Christmas time and the hotel didn’t have a special Xmas menu and the food selection is very poor . The only good thing is the amazing staff at the restaurant and bar Claudio , Pedro and Helder they made our Xmas wonderful ! We have stayed in other hotels of this chain and all of them have coffee maker in the room and in this one they removed it and only left to make tea the Moreno sugar is old is very bad for a hotel of this category. The reception staff did not give information about the hotel facilities and we did not know that the hotel had a Terrace or a gym what a shame. This hotel was recommended by some friends but it seems that this hotel changed its manager or something because it dropped in quality and service.

I find it difficult to understand that a 4* hotel does not offer me even a room service for dinner every day of my stay. The second day I had to leave the hotel raining because, according to the hotel staff version, they were renovating the kitchen. (The day before and the day after services were running smoothly)

We have been staying from August 25 to 28, 2023 and the experience at the hotel has been unmatched. The hotel is very well located, close to all the attractions of the city. The facilities are new, the rooms are large and the cleanliness of the room deserves special recognition. All the hotel staff, from the reception employees to the cafeteria employees, are young staff willing to help you and very helpful. There was a problem with the family room we had reserved, but the manager (I think his name was Joao) solved it for us immediately and with excellent courtesy, always worrying about us. The pool is located on the attic with great views that we were able to enjoy the days we were there. The restaurant overlooks a garden where you can also have breakfast quietly. The breakfast is very complete, varied fruit, natural juices,... Access to the room floors via the elevator is protected and must be done with the key. of the room so that no one who is not staying there can have access. In short, it has been a very pleasant stay that we would undoubtedly repeat if we returned to the city.

Had a wonderful stay in this hotel for 3 nights. Staff were very friendly, great touch that you're given a token for a free port on arrival. Also, excellent initiative if you are happy to not have housekeeping during your stay you are given a free drink voucher.
Location is ideal for walking to the riviera, ponte Luis bridge is 10 minutes walk away, as is Sao Bento station, you are not far away from anything and lots of shops, restaurants etc within easy reach.
Rooms looked newly refurbished and were very clean and a good size.
The pool on the roof is small and beds/seats are limited but a nice area to sit and chill for a little while. The bar and restaurant area looked clean and outdoor area was nice with plenty of seating. We didn't eat here during our stay as we had lots planned.
All in all would recommend this hotel and would stay here for any future trips to Porto.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights which is situated not far from the famous Ponte LuÃs bridge. There are a number of restaurants and bars within a 15 minute walk. Porto itself is very hilly, so you will either have to climb up/down steps or hills to get around the city. There is a funicular not far away from the hotel which gets you down to the riverside/back up to the hotel (4 euro per trip). There are also regular buses (2 euros), with a stop situated just up the road from the hotel.
The hotel itself was very clean, modern and quiet. The staff we encountered were always helpful and polite. Our room was also clean and modern, and had everything that we needed for a city break. The bed was really comfortable and we got a great couple of nights sleep. We made use of the rooftop pool - it’s not that big in size, but it was perfect for what we needed. Glass windows could do with a clean as it seems to be a hotspot for birds and seagulls.
My parents stayed in a room down the corridor and they had a much smaller balcony than we did - despite it being the same room type and price. They also had problems with their door shutting/locking and a faulty kettle. The staff managed to rectify the door but sadly the kettle issue wasn’t fixed which was slightly disappointing.
Overall, this is a great hotel in a great location for a city break in Porto. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend this hotel to others.

The hotel is a real positive surprise. The rooms are stylish and modern, with a great shower, toiletries in the bathroom, and a comfortable bed. On the 4th floor there is a great view of the Douro. The staff are all very friendly and attentive. Underground parking with lots of free spaces. Vouchers for a welcome port wine. Small, lovely breakfast area with a view of the beautifully designed little garden. Small but lovely breakfast buffet with a very large and high-quality selection, including cava, everything lovingly prepared. The location is absolutely perfect. It's a shame that we only had one night here before a tour down to the Algarve. Highly recommended!

I submitted a review of this hotel and it seems to have been removed, which is telling of how things work.
This hotel came with a free transfer from the airport via booking.com, and it never showed up. When we asked the hotel they said they would ask booking.com to look into it but this did not happen.
More importantly the room faced the main street, and it was noisy till late at night, and in the mornings, even with the double glazing. The road seems to be leading out of the City and into it. Definitely not for clients who are looking for a quiet spot in town.
There's not much in terms of dinner offerings, they are closed.

Probably your previous review was not according to the guidelines, reason why it was removed. Regarding the airport transfer, and as already explained multiple times, this service is managed by Booking.com and not by the hotel. We do not have control over the availability or accuracy of this information on their platform, neither we have the possibility to remove this information. Therefore, this issue shall be addressed directly with them, as this was the information given. Concerning the noise from the street, we are quite surprised and it is curious that only now you are bringing this matter to our attention, as we did not received any complaints about this during your stay or at check-out. We would have been more than willing to assist you with a room change if we had known this beforehand. As for our dining options, our restaurant is indeed open every day from 12 PM to 10:30 PM, offering a diverse menu of Portuguese and Mexican cuisine, as well as a variety of burgers. Hello, I just noticed your question. I don't recall that there was any issue with privacy. We had a small balcony on the side of the hotel that was facing the train station, and we never saw any other hotel guests. Hope that helps.
