This is definitely a tourist hotel.Very busy. Lots of bus tours. Very nice converted property in a great area ,one block from the water front. Expect small rooms in Europe but ours was absolutely tiny. Good staff and good breakfast buffet.
We were a group of friends ready to walk the Camino and had a day or more in Porto, this is a super location right near the water, lovely breakfast, clean rooms (although a little tight squeeze, and a bit dark, no view from window), very friendly staff
A very poor experience ... room might be within the acceptable, but the attitude, very arrogant staff and the low quality breakfast restaurant shows a very bad managent without the least bit of concern. We tried to make the management understand our problems, but unfortunatelly without no kind of understandig! If you expect a 4 star hotel, you simply need to search for another option ... the Carris Porto Ribeira will need to change attitude!…
This is excellent property . It right next to river by tunnel. So you have climb for sightseeing otherwise it is excellent hotel. Staff is polite and professional. I didn’t eat here so cannot comment. As such property is well maintained.
We enjoyed our stay. Room had a nice shower with view into the room that you could close if you wanted. Bed was firm. We did hear a lot of seagulls from our room since we were so close to the river. One block down to the river where all the action was at. TV was a bit small but we did not really use it. Staff was really friendly. There are multiple elevators so ask which one to your room.…
