Was totally mislead by the previous reviews and photos. The staff was nice the breakfast was average . However, we had 37 straits to climb with our suitcases, they stated that parking is available , well it is in the street if you can find one. The street they are located in is unattractive, old and run down houses all...

When we arrived we were greeted by Bruno who was very polite, informative and hospitable. He brought us a complimentary glass of port and spent time with us giving tips of what to see in the city. Really enjoyed the eclectic artwork throughout the building. The rooms were clean and tidy. Breakfast had a nice selection with a lot to...

We stayed at Cosme for three nights. Great location (residential area) with local restaurants and grocery stores. Walking distance from everything. Great room, nice breakfast, nice price. There are some pictures of Porto that could be helpful for you to make a decision whether to visit it or not: www.barboska.com/porto. Enjoy your stay!

Sarah sets a new level of friendliness. Rooms were immaculate and beautiful. Cannot recommended more. Complementary breakfast was great! Accommodation for our semi large group wasn't a problem. Located a tiny distance from the metro, but wasn't a problem to find.

I visited this guesthouse with a friend in May 2015. Upon arrival we were greeted by a lovely lady who got us drinks. She then gave us a map of the city and her colleague highlighted a route to see the city as we were only there a day. They spent time talking to us and advising us on how...

My wife and I recently visited Porto (beg. of May 2015) and after completing our trip that took us to 9 Portuguese & Spanish cities, this was definitely the highlight of the trip. The city is amazing and this cozy guesthouse is a perfect embodiment of everything we loved during our time there. From the beginning, they are kind and...

This guesthouse is within walking distance of central Porto and many of the sights. The rooms are adequate but have a small shower and bathroom. The rooms contain a small refrigerator and microwave oven and the beds are very comfortable and large. There is excellent internet access. We had some problems with the lights and heat but the these were...

An interesting boutique guesthouse in the old part of Porto. The host, Sara, greeted me with a glass of port and sweet biscuits. Later she provided me with detailed and accurate suggestions of where to eat locally and what to visit in Porto. Although I was a single traveller my room was one large bedroom in the Miró apartment. The...
