The place is run by a very friendly "Mamma" and her family - always smiling and helping when needed. Central location in a neighbourhood with many food options, just 15min walking to the riverside. Big rooms in typical Portuguese style, all very clean and a goooood hot shower!

The hotel seems great and the guy in the recepction was really helpfull, but i didnt end up staying there, there is a problem with the link between trip advisor and making the booking vía booking.com, i thought i was making a reservation in Almada but it was another hotel in the street, it is not their fault, but at...

My sister and I spent three days in Porto in september. The location of Almada guesthouse is great, very close to the metro station. Our hosts were charming and very helpful. The house is tastefully renovated, and it keeps the charm of the old building while being very comfortable. I would definitely come back.

Although the place is fairly difficult to find it is in an incredible location. Once we did find it the staff could not have been more welcoming, and the staff maintained that incredibly friendly and helpful attitude throughout. The building itself is simply stunning, mixing an old well looked after building with modern and stylish decor. We stayed on the...

When we came to hotel we were greeted by very nice portugese woman. She did not speak any English but tried her best to explain everything. The room was simple but enough for good night sleep. We got room overlooking the road a bit noisy at the times but that does not bother us. The room had its bathroom that...

Arrived mid afternoon to a surprised owner who hadn't received our online booking from about 8 hours earlier. I showed it to her on my phone and to her credit, she immediately went about seeing what she could do and offered us an alternative room AND reduced the price by €5 - a really nice surprise! The room was very...

Great location, a beautiful house with super friendly staff (they gave a lot of great sightseeing and restaurant advise) coupled with a really competitive price! The only negative was poor WiFi (slow and trouble finding the network). We can highly recommend this place.

We had a beautiful family room in this guesthouse. There were 4 beds and we still had enough room to dance around, this room was really huge. Nice and crispy white, big beds, comfortable bathroom and little balcony. The staff was also really warm and friendly. I would like to come here again !!

A lovely guesthouse in a very cool old stone building, beautifully decorated. All the staff we spoke to were universally polite and helpful, giving good advice on what to see/do in Porto. We didn't get a chance to use the kitchen but it was very well equipped and clean - this would be a good choice if you were staying...

Due to a mix-up with another reservation, we unexpectedly ended up for one night in a third-floor bedroom at Almada Guest House. The building is located in Porto's central/downtown business district - about five minutes to Sao Bento train station and convenient to anything you would want to see in central Porto, and about fifteen minutes' walk to the riverfront/Riberia...
