The hotel is quite away out of the centre and the bus runs only every 15 minutes. The staff were rather dour and the hotel itself very dated and in need of an overhaul. Our room had damp patches on the outside wall and a lovely view into a rather derelict block of flats at the back of the building....

This is a 4 star in all the sense of the word... sure the facilities and building itself is bit outdated, but for the price you pay to stay here, I rather compromise that than the comfort. The staff are all very genuine, kind and eager to help as much as they can. You wont find the typical pretentious bell-boy...

The hotel was a big surprise to us as we didn't expect it to be so good. The staff was really helpful and polite, the rooms clean and comfortable. Breakfast was of good quality. There was a bus station just opposite the hotel (10 min. to the city centre). The only drawback was that the fridge in the room didn't...

Stayed in this hotel for a few days for business. The hotel seems to have 4 stars, although I don't understand how they got it. My guess is that it got immediately 4 stars when it was opened by Frank Sinatra in 1960. Staff seems to have an uninterested mentality. Breakfast was included, although this can not really be called...

Hotel was simple, but comfortable. It looked oldstylish ,really needs some changes. However staff was friendly and helping. The room looked simple, but it was spacious and confortable enough for two persons. It was very clean when we came and every day we found it clean. Wifi was working very good in the room. The only annoying thing was we...

It said it was four star, but I would rate it as a good three star. The hotel is functional rather than stylish. It is located about two miles North of the city centre, but there is a frequent bus service (Number 600) that will take you into the centre in just over 10 minutes. Alternately, if you walk, it...

We stayed at this hotel at the beginning of our Leger Grand Tour of Spain & Portugal. This was our first stay in Portugal & honestly if this is the acceptable standard of hotels in the country we won't be returning.First impressions not good.Long delays at the reception desk with no information about the group booking available & then staff arguing...

We stayed at this hotel on our grand tour of Spain and Portugal. We had our first problem checking in at reception as they struggled to find which group we were. We went to our bedroom which was in some serious need of refurbishment, but it appeared to be very clean. Our room overlooked what I assume is a commune...
