Despite great service and great location in Porto downtown, I was a bit disappointing because of the rooms: not very friendly However the breakfast was nice with friend orange juice, just missing a bit of choice and more refill There's a parking nearby for which you have to pay 20€ for 24h.

We stayed here for our honeymoon as we visited Porto last year and wanted to go back. The hotel is in a lovely location, 2 mins walk from the river and 3 mins walk to main square in other direction. Sir rounded by cafes and restaurants. Even though it is in a busy area it was still quiet enough at... More

Great hotel, the rooms were small, bathrooms clean, nice simple breakfast buffet. Excellent location and surroundings you could walk anywhere within ten minutes. Hotel staffs were friendly and recommended a great wine tour to the Doro Valley.

We used trip advisor to find this wonderful hotel. It is centrally located convenient to restaurants and convenient to the various portal sights. The staff have been wonderful and very helpful. Our room was clean and very comfortable. We had some traffic noise from outside but it was typical for the area. We would heartily recommend this hotel to visitors... More

This year, Mrs. and I, have decided to make a vacation in northwestern Portugal, along with our 18 month toddler. No trip to this part of the country is complete without a stay in Porto, the north's capital. And so, my quest to discover a place that was both affordable, in a nice neighborhood, and near public transportation and the... More

Stayed there for 3 nights and the location was perfect! Walking distance to a lot of this especially Ponte Luiz and Ribeirinha! The breakfast was good and the coffee was just right. If you just want a plain drip coffee this hotel has it!! The hotel staff very helpful and speaks well English!

After travelling, we did not want to go far for our first evening meal so we enjoyed a meal at one of a group of restaurants only a one minute walk from the hotel. The river is only a five minute walk down the hill with the open top bus and tram stops about the same distance away. We had... More

4 of us have just returned from a long weekend in Porto staying at the Hotel da Bolsa. What a lovely friendly hotel and the Reception staff couldn't do enough to help. Breakfasts were fine and the rooms very clean and comfortable. The hotel is only a 5 minute walk down hill to the Douro where everything is happening both... More

This is an affordable small charming older hotel. It is located right in the centre of Porto with easy (or at least close) walking access to many sights. The staff are helpful and friendly. The rooms have been refreshed. They are smallish but everything works well including ac and shower.
