The hotel has recently been decorated. it is in a good location, clean and cheap. The facilities and breakfast are very basic and the wifi was hit and miss but I would consider the whole experience value for money.

We stayed here for a break over easter. It was a cheapy break away. To be honest the hotel was basic but very clean. Rooms very basic but I cannot fault the bed comfort and the shower. May be the two most important aspects of a cheep room. The location is very near to the metro so easy to get...

Awful rooms with old style dirty moquette, terribly insulated window and ridiculous furnitures. Noisy Water leaking from the toilet. No heating with +4 degrees outside, only this electric heater that I will never trust to keep it on during the night. Better cold than in the room fire...

Hotel one star. You can hear all the sounds around. The poorest breakfast I've ever had in hotels. Very damaged interior. Very helpful and friendly staff, but it does not compensate for the rest. Note on prices!!!

The hotel was very nice and clean. Nothing to complain about. Our room was big (even though it was the cheapest one) and we had a bathtub and a big closet. Furthermore there was free wifi of high standard compared to free wifi in a lot of the other hotels in the region (at least those I've tried). And last...

The location of the hotel is very good as in 10 minutes walk you can reach Bolhao market. It is a small hotel the staff is very friendly and helpfull but rooms are cold. You can use air condition for heating but the batgroom is cold. In April when we arrived outside was 15 degrees and in the room was...

Spent a couple of days in Porto and stopped in the Hotel Menfis . The hotel based around a 15 minute walk from the centre of town. The interior is decorated in a tasteful manner and covered all the needs required. The staff are really pleasant and very helpful and would happily stay again in the Menfis Hotel.

Hotel Menfis is older but full of character, close to everything and the staff are very friendly. We did ask for a non smoking room and got one with the odour of smoke, sometimes hard to avoid at the cheaper end of the market. The staff were very helpful with great advice re their city. For the budget traveller.

I read a few of the reviews here and was not quite sure what to expect. I should not have worried! The hotel was lovely, approximately 10-15 minute walk to the centre of Porto. We had a nice clean room and only paid £60 for 3 nights!

Even though the room was clean, doesn't have certain commodities. The only available energy plugs were near the room door, far from the table or the bed. The tap made a lot of noise each time it was opened, the bathroom was deteriorated, had damp on the ceiling. Breakfast lack diversity and the staff could be more professional.
